蓋彼受割者、己不守律、惟欲爾受割、致彼因爾形軀而誇、

耶穌謂之曰、爾於人前自義、然上帝知爾心、蓋人所崇者、上帝所惡也、

爾禁食、勿若偽善者作憂容、彼垢面以禁食見於人、我誠語汝、彼已得其賞矣、

乃吞嫠婦家資、佯為長祈、其受刑必尤重也、

勿各顧己事、亦宜顧人之事、

有自譽者、我不敢與之匹、與之較、其人自相度、自相較、不智也、

故施濟勿吹角於前、若偽善者在會堂通衢、求榮於人、我誠語汝、彼已得其賞矣、

如是、爾以義外見於人、內則偽善不法充之矣、○

我見其行不端、不依福音之真、遂於眾前語之曰、爾猶太人也、所行既如異邦人、非如猶太人、胡為強異邦人如猶太人乎、

蓋我屢告爾、今又涕泣告爾、多有所行與基督十架為敵者、

爾祈禱、勿若偽善者、好立會堂街隅祈禱、令人見之、我誠語汝、彼已得其賞矣、
