時既成熟、天主乃遣其聖子、使之出於婦人之腹、而生於律法之下、

But when the set time had fully come, God sent his Son, born of a woman, born under the law,

But then the chosen time came. God sent his Son. A woman gave birth to him. He was born under the authority of the law.

But when the fullness of time had come, God sent forth his Son, born of woman, born under the law,

But when the right time came, God sent his Son, born of a woman, subject to the law.

When the time came to completion, God sent his Son, born of a woman, born under the law,

But when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the law,

But when the appropriate time had come, God sent out his Son, born of a woman, born under the law,

and saying,“ The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe in the gospel.”

Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, the virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and she will name Him Immanuel.

And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us; and we saw His glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.

regarding His plan of the fullness of the times, to bring all things together in Christ, things in the heavens and things on the earth.

concerning His Son, who was born of a descendant of David according to the flesh,

“ For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish, but have eternal life.

“ Behold, the virgin will conceive and give birth to a Son, and they shall name Him Immanuel,” which translated means,“ God with us.”

And she gave birth to her firstborn son; and she wrapped Him in cloths, and laid Him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn.

How long will you waver, You rebellious daughter? For the Lord has created a new thing on the earth: A woman will shelter a man.”

For a Child will be born to us, a Son will be given to us; And the government will rest on His shoulders; And His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace.There will be no end to the increase of His government or of peace On the throne of David and over his kingdom, To establish it and to uphold it with justice and righteousness From then on and forevermore. The zeal of the Lord of armies will accomplish this.

The angel answered and said to her,“ The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you; for that reason also the holy Child will be called the Son of God.

Therefore, when He comes into the world, He says,“ You have not desired sacrifice and offering, But You have prepared a body for Me;You have not taken pleasure in whole burnt offerings and offerings for sin.Then I said,‘ Behold, I have come( It is written of Me in the scroll of the book) To do Your will, O God.’ ”

But as for you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, Too little to be among the clans of Judah, From you One will come forth for Me to be ruler in Israel. His times of coming forth are from long ago, From the days of eternity.”Therefore He will give them up until the time When she who is in labor has given birth. Then the remainder of His kinsmen Will return to the sons of Israel.

“ Seventy weeks have been decreed for your people and your holy city, to finish the wrongdoing, to make an end of sin, to make atonement for guilt, to bring in everlasting righteousness, to seal up vision and prophecy, and to anoint the Most Holy Place.So you are to know and understand that from the issuing of a decree to restore and rebuild Jerusalem, until Messiah the Prince, there will be seven weeks and sixty two weeks; it will be built again, with streets and moat, even in times of distress.Then after the sixty two weeks, the Messiah will be cut off and have nothing, and the people of the prince who is to come will destroy the city and the sanctuary. And its end will come with a flood; even to the end there will be war; desolations are determined.

For the Lord of armies says this:“ After glory He has sent me against the nations that plunder you, for the one who touches you, touches the apple of His eye.For behold, I am going to wave My hand over them so that they will be plunder for their slaves. Then you will know that the Lord of armies has sent Me.Shout for joy and rejoice, daughter of Zion; for behold I am coming and I will dwell in your midst,” declares the Lord.“ And many nations will join themselves to the Lord on that day and will become My people. Then I will dwell in your midst, and you will know that the Lord of armies has sent Me to you.

The scepter will not depart from Judah, Nor the ruler’s staff from between his feet, Until Shiloh comes, And to him shall be the obedience of the peoples.

Then say to him,‘ The Lord of armies says this:“ Behold, there is a Man whose name is Branch, for He will branch out from where He is; and He will build the temple of the Lord.

who, as He already existed in the form of God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped,but emptied Himself by taking the form of a bond servant and being born in the likeness of men.And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to the point of death: death on a cross.

Come near to Me, listen to this: From the beginning I have not spoken in secret, From the time it took place, I was there. And now the Lord God has sent Me, and His Spirit.”

And I will make enemies Of you and the woman, And of your offspring and her Descendant; He shall bruise you on the head, And you shall bruise Him on the heel.”

Therefore, since the children share in flesh and blood, He Himself likewise also partook of the same, so that through death He might destroy the one who has the power of death, that is, the devil,

are you saying of Him whom the Father sanctified and sent into the world,‘ You are blaspheming,’ because I said,‘ I am the Son of God’?

For what the Law could not do, weak as it was through the flesh, God did: sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and as an offering for sin, He condemned sin in the flesh,

But Jesus, answering, said to him,“ Allow it at this time; for in this way it is fitting for us to fulfill all righteousness.” Then he* allowed Him.

But He said to them,“ It is not for you to know periods of time or appointed times which the Father has set by His own authority;

having canceled the certificate of debt consisting of decrees against us, which was hostile to us; and He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross.

For I say that Christ has become a servant to the circumcision in behalf of the truth of God, to confirm the promises given to the fathers,

“ Do not presume that I came to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I did not come to abolish, but to fulfill.

since they relate only to food, drink, and various washings, regulations for the body imposed until a time of reformation.

And when eight days were completed so that it was time for His circumcision, He was also named Jesus, the name given by the angel before He was conceived in the womb.And when the days for their purification according to the Law of Moses were completed, they brought Him up to Jerusalem to present Him to the Lord( as it is written in the Law of the Lord:“ Every firstborn male that opens the womb shall be called holy to the Lord”),and to offer a sacrifice according to what has been stated in the Law of the Lord:“ A pair of turtledoves or two young doves.”And there was a man in Jerusalem whose name was Simeon; and this man was righteous and devout, looking forward to the consolation of Israel; and the Holy Spirit was upon him.And it had been revealed to him by the Holy Spirit that he would not see death before he had seen the Lord’s Christ.And he came by the Spirit into the temple; and when the parents brought in the child Jesus, to carry out for Him the custom of the Law,

And so the angel said to them,“ Do not be afraid; for behold, I bring you good news of great joy which will be for all the people;for today in the city of David there has been born for you a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.

And behold, you will conceive in your womb and give birth to a son, and you shall name Him Jesus.

Beyond question, great is the mystery of godliness: He who was revealed in the flesh, Was vindicated in the Spirit, Seen by angels, Proclaimed among the nations, Believed on in the world, Taken up in glory.

whose are the fathers, and from whom is the Christ according to the flesh, who is over all, God blessed forever. Amen.

“ Behold, I am sending My messenger, and he will clear a way before Me. And the Lord, whom you are seeking, will suddenly come to His temple; and the messenger of the covenant, in whom you delight, behold, He is coming,” says the Lord of armies.

Jesus said to them,“ If God were your Father, you would love Me, for I came forth from God and am here; for I have not even come on My own, but He sent Me.

For I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me.
