我儕童蒙時、亦役於斯世之小學、

我儕當未成人、亦為此世小學束縛、

我儕亦然、當未成人時、被此世賤質賤質或作虛文束縛、

吾人亦然、方吾人之尚屬幼稚、亦受制於世俗之蒙學；

So also, when we were underage, we were in slavery under the elemental spiritual forces of the world.

It is the same with us. When we were children, we were slaves to the basic spiritual powers of the world.

In the same way we also, when we were children, were enslaved to the elementary principles of the world.

And that’s the way it was with us before Christ came. We were like children; we were slaves to the basic spiritual principles of this world.

See to it that there is no one who takes you captive through philosophy and empty deception in accordance with human tradition, in accordance with the elementary principles of the world, rather than in accordance with Christ.

If you have died with Christ to the elementary principles of the world, why, as if you were living in the world, do you submit yourself to decrees, such as,

But now that you have come to know God, or rather to be known by God, how is it that you turn back again to the weak and worthless elementary principles, to which you want to be enslaved all over again?

Yet it was a concern because of the false brothers secretly brought in, who had sneaked in to spy on our freedom which we have in Christ Jesus, in order to enslave us.

Since this is the case, why are you putting God to the test by placing upon the neck of the disciples a yoke which neither our forefathers nor we have been able to bear?

So then, brothers and sisters, we are not children of a slave woman, but of the free woman.It was for freedom that Christ set us free; therefore keep standing firm and do not be subject again to a yoke of slavery.

who has become a priest not on the basis of a law of physical requirement, but according to the power of an indestructible life.
