Scripture foresaw that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, and announced the gospel in advance to Abraham:“ All nations will be blessed through you.”

Long ago, Scripture knew that God would make the Gentiles right with himself. He would do this by their faith in him. He announced the good news ahead of time to Abraham. God said,“ All nations will be blessed because of you.”( Genesis 12:3; 18:18; 22:18)

And the Scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, preached the gospel beforehand to Abraham, saying,“ In you shall all the nations be blessed.”

What’s more, the Scriptures looked forward to this time when God would make the Gentiles right in his sight because of their faith. God proclaimed this good news to Abraham long ago when he said,“ All nations will be blessed through you.”

Now the Scripture saw in advance that God would justify the Gentiles by faith and proclaimed the gospel ahead of time to Abraham, saying, All the nations will be blessed through you.

因為我們堅信人被稱為義人是藉著信，不是靠遵行律法。難道上帝只是猶太人的上帝嗎？祂不也是外族人的上帝嗎？祂當然也是外族人的上帝。因為上帝只有一位，祂本著信稱受割禮的人為義人，也本著信稱未受割禮的人為義人。

第七位天使吹響號角的時候，天上有大聲音說：「世上的國度現在已經屬於我們的主和祂所立的基督了。祂要作王，直到永永遠遠。」

因為我們和他們一樣聽到了福音，只是他們聽了道後沒有憑信心領受，結果沒有得到益處。

這完全與眾先知的話相符，正如聖經上說，『此後，我要回來重建已傾覆的大衛王朝，將它從廢墟中重建、恢復，好叫其餘的百姓，就是凡歸在我名下的外族人都尋求主。』這是上帝說的，祂從亙古就顯明了這事。

王權必不離猶大，御杖必伴他左右，直到那位執掌王權的來到，萬民都必歸順他。

但聖經說所有的人都在罪的權勢下，爲要使那些相信的人因爲相信耶穌基督而得到應許。

「我必使雅各的後裔興起，使猶大人興起，繼承我的群山。我揀選的子民必擁有那片土地，我的僕人必在那裡安居。

我必使你的後代多如繁星，將這些土地都賜給他們，天下萬國必因你的後裔而蒙福。

聖經記載著上帝對法老說的話：「我使你興起是為了在你身上彰顯我的權能，使我的名傳遍天下。」

亞伯拉罕必成為強盛的大國，世上萬國必因他而蒙福。

上帝曾向亞伯拉罕和他的後裔賜下應許，不過這裡沒有說「後裔們」——指許多人，而是說「你的後裔」——指一個人，就是基督。

你的後代必多如地上的塵沙，遍佈四方，地上萬族必因你和你的後代而蒙福。

正如聖經所言，信我的人，『從他裡面要流出活水的江河來』。」

並且你從小就熟悉聖經。聖經能給你智慧，使你藉著信基督耶穌得到拯救。聖經全部是上帝啟示的，有益於教導、督責、使人歸正、培養人行義，使屬上帝的人得到充分的裝備，去行各種善事。

這樣看來，我們該說什麼呢？本來不追求義的外族人卻因信而得到了義。

論到耶穌，大衛曾說，『我看見主常在我面前，祂在我右邊，我必不動搖。因此我的心歡喜，我的口頌讚，我的身體也要活在盼望中。

但聖經上怎麼說呢？聖經上說：「趕走婢女和她的兒子，因為婢女的兒子不能與主母的兒子一同承受產業。」

在他統治之下，願義人興旺，國富民強，如月長存。

即使境內只剩下十分之一的人，也必被消滅。然而，就像砍掉松樹和橡樹後必留下樹墩，這地方必有聖潔的苗裔存留下來。」

等我使你的仇敵成為你的腳凳。』

聖經上不是說基督是大衛的後裔，要降生在大衛的故鄉伯利恆嗎？」

「他們要仰望自己所刺的那位。」
