夫爾等既屬基督即為亞伯漢之裔、亦即承恩諾之嗣子也。

If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.

You who belong to Christ are Abraham’s seed. So you will receive what God has promised.

And if you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s offspring, heirs according to promise.

And now that you belong to Christ, you are the true children of Abraham. You are his heirs, and God’s promise to Abraham belongs to you.

And if you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s seed, heirs according to the promise.

And if you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s descendants, heirs according to promise.

And if you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.

And if you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s descendants, heirs according to the promise.

The Gentiles are coheirs, members of the same body, and partners of the promise in Christ Jesus through the gospel.

Neither are they all children because they are Abraham’s descendants. On the contrary, your offspring will be traced through Isaac.That is, it is not the children by physical descent who are God’s children, but the children of the promise are considered to be the offspring.

For it is written that Abraham had two sons, one by a slave and the other by a free woman.But the one by the slave was born according to the impulse of the flesh, while the one by the free woman was born as the result of a promise.These things are illustrations, for the women represent the two covenants. One is from Mount Sinai and bears children into slavery— this is Hagar.Now Hagar is Mount Sinai in Arabia and corresponds to the present Jerusalem, for she is in slavery with her children.But the Jerusalem above is free, and she is our mother.For it is written: Rejoice, childless woman, who does not give birth. Burst into song and shout, you who are not in labor, for the children of the desolate are many, more numerous than those of the woman who has a husband.Now you, brothers, like Isaac, are children of promise.But just as then the child born according to the flesh persecuted the one born according to the Spirit, so also now.But what does the Scripture say? Drive out the slave and her son, for the son of the slave will never be a coheir with the son of the free woman.Therefore, brothers, we are not children of the slave but of the free woman.

and if children, also heirs— heirs of God and coheirs with Christ— seeing that we suffer with Him so that we may also be glorified with Him.

This is why the promise is by faith, so that it may be according to grace, to guarantee it to all the descendants— not only to those who are of the law but also to those who are of Abraham’s faith. He is the father of us allin God’s sight. As it is written: I have made you the father of many nations. He believed in God, who gives life to the dead and calls things into existence that do not exist.He believed, hoping against hope, so that he became the father of many nations according to what had been spoken: So will your descendants be.He considered his own body to be already dead( since he was about 100 years old) and also considered the deadness of Sarah’s womb, without weakening in the faith.He did not waver in unbelief at God’s promise but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God,because he was fully convinced that what He had promised He was also able to perform.

whether Paul or Apollos or Cephas or the world or life or death or things present or things to come— everything is yours,and you belong to Christ, and Christ belongs to God.

The victor will inherit these things, and I will be his God, and he will be My son.

Listen, my dear brothers: Didn’t God choose the poor in this world to be rich in faith and heirs of the kingdom that He has promised to those who love Him?

so that having been justified by His grace, we may become heirs with the hope of eternal life.

And he became the father of the circumcised, who are not only circumcised but who also follow in the footsteps of the faith our father Abraham had while he was still uncircumcised.For the promise to Abraham or to his descendants that he would inherit the world was not through the law, but through the righteousness that comes by faith.If those who are of the law are heirs, faith is made empty and the promise is canceled.

So you are no longer a slave but a son, and if a son, then an heir through God.

then understand that those who have faith are Abraham’s sons.

Look at what is obvious. If anyone is confident that he belongs to Christ, he should remind himself of this: Just as he belongs to Christ, so do we.

By faith Noah, after he was warned about what was not yet seen and motivated by godly fear, built an ark to deliver his family. By faith he condemned the world and became an heir of the righteousness that comes by faith.

Are they not all ministering spirits sent out to serve those who are going to inherit salvation?

There is no Jew or Greek, slave or free, male or female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus.

the one it had been said about, Your seed will be traced through Isaac.

Because God wanted to show His unchangeable purpose even more clearly to the heirs of the promise, He guaranteed it with an oath,

Now those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.

But each in his own order: Christ, the firstfruits; afterward, at His coming, those who belong to Christ.

Now the promises were spoken to Abraham and to his seed. He does not say“ and to seeds,” as though referring to many, but referring to one, and to your seed, who is Christ.

So she said to Abraham,“ Drive out this slave with her son, for the son of this slave will not be a coheir with my son Isaac!”Now this was a very difficult thing for Abraham because of his son.But God said to Abraham,“ Do not be concerned about the boy and your slave. Whatever Sarah says to you, listen to her, because your offspring will be traced through Isaac.
