If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.

You who belong to Christ are Abraham’s seed. So you will receive what God has promised.

And if you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s offspring, heirs according to promise.

And now that you belong to Christ, you are the true children of Abraham. You are his heirs, and God’s promise to Abraham belongs to you.

And if you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s seed, heirs according to the promise.

For it is written, that Abraham had two sons, one by the handmaid, and one by the freewoman.Howbeit the son by the handmaid is born after the flesh; but the son by the freewoman is born through promise.Which things contain an allegory: for these women are two covenants; one from mount Sinai, bearing children unto bondage, which is Hagar.Now this Hagar is mount Sinai in Arabia and answereth to the Jerusalem that now is: for she is in bondage with her children.But the Jerusalem that is above is free, which is our mother.For it is written, Rejoice, thou barren that bearest not; Break forth and cry, thou that travailest not: For more are the children of the desolate than of her that hath the husband.Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are children of promise.But as then he that was born after the flesh persecuted him that was born after the Spirit, so also it is now.Howbeit what saith the scripture? Cast out the handmaid and her son: for the son of the handmaid shall not inherit with the son of the freewoman.Wherefore, brethren, we are not children of a handmaid, but of the freewoman.

and if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint- heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified with him.

For this cause it is of faith, that it may be according to grace; to the end that the promise may be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all( as it is written, A father of many nations have I made thee) before him whom he believed, even God, who giveth life to the dead, and calleth the things that are not, as though they were.Who in hope believed against hope, to the end that he might become a father of many nations, according to that which had been spoken, So shall thy seed be.And without being weakened in faith he considered his own body now as good as dead( he being about a hundred years old), and the deadness of Sarah’s womb;yet, looking unto the promise of God, he wavered not through unbelief, but waxed strong through faith, giving glory to God,and being fully assured that what he had promised, he was able also to perform.

whether Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death, or things present, or things to come; all are yours;and ye are Christ’s; and Christ is God’s.

He that overcometh shall inherit these things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.

Hearken, my beloved brethren; did not God choose them that are poor as to the world to be rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which he promised to them that love him?

that, being justified by his grace, we might be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

and the father of circumcision to them who not only are of the circumcision, but who also walk in the steps of that faith of our father Abraham which he had in uncircumcision.For not through the law was the promise to Abraham or to his seed that he should be heir of the world, but through the righteousness of faith.For if they that are of the law are heirs, faith is made void, and the promise is made of none effect:

So that thou art no longer a bondservant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir through God.

Know therefore that they that are of faith, the same are sons of Abraham.

Ye look at the things that are before your face. If any man trusteth in himself that he is Christ’s, let him consider this again with himself, that, even as he is Christ’s, so also are we.

By faith Noah, being warned of God concerning things not seen as yet, moved with godly fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; through which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is according to faith.

Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to do service for the sake of them that shall inherit salvation?

There can be neither Jew nor Greek, there can be neither bond nor free, there can be no male and female; for ye all are one man in Christ Jesus.

even he to whom it was said, In Isaac shall thy seed be called:

Wherein God, being minded to show more abundantly unto the heirs of the promise the immutability of his counsel, interposed with an oath;

And they that are of Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with the passions and the lusts thereof.

But each in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; then they that are Christ’s, at his coming.

Now to Abraham were the promises spoken, and to his seed. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.

Wherefore she said unto Abraham, Cast out this handmaid and her son: for the son of this handmaid shall not be heir with my son, even with Isaac.And the thing was very grievous in Abraham’s sight on account of his son.And God said unto Abraham, Let it not be grievous in thy sight because of the lad, and because of thy handmaid; in all that Sarah saith unto thee, hearken unto her voice; for in Isaac shall thy seed be called.
