凡以遵行律法為本的人都在咒詛之下，因為聖經上說：「凡不遵行律法書上一切命令的人必受咒詛。」

凡以行律法为本的，都是被咒诅的；因为经上记着：“凡不常照律法书上所记一切之事去行的，就被咒诅。”

凡出于律法的行为都是受诅咒的，因为经上记着：“凡不持守律法书上所记的一切而去行的，都是受诅咒的。”

若夫徒恃法者、服咒詛也、經云、不恆遵律法所載而行之者、服咒詛也、

凡恃行律法之功者、皆服詛、蓋經載云、凡不恆遵律法書所載而盡行之者、服詛也、

若夫徒恃律法者、則實處於咒咀之下。經不云乎：『凡不遵行律法之一切規定者、應服咒詛。』

For all who rely on the works of the law are under a curse, as it is written:“ Cursed is everyone who does not continue to do everything written in the Book of the Law.”

All who depend on obeying the law are under a curse. It is written,“ May everyone who doesn’t continue to do everything written in the Book of the Law be under God’s curse.”( Deuteronomy 27:26)

For all who rely on works of the law are under a curse; for it is written,“ Cursed be everyone who does not abide by all things written in the Book of the Law, and do them.”

But those who depend on the law to make them right with God are under his curse, for the Scriptures say,“ Cursed is everyone who does not observe and obey all the commands that are written in God’s Book of the Law.”

For all who rely on the works of the law are under a curse, because it is written, Everyone who does not do everything written in the book of the law is cursed.

For all who are of works of the Law are under a curse; for it is written:“ Cursed is everyone who does not abide by all the things written in the book of the Law, to do them.”

For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse; for it is written,“ Cursed is everyone who does not continue in all things which are written in the book of the law, to do them.”

『凡不遵行這律法的必受咒詛！』全體民眾要回答說，『阿們！』

因為顧念罪惡本性的人與上帝為敵，不服從上帝的律法，也無力服從。

我們知道律法所講的都是針對律法之下的人，好叫所有的人都無話可說，使全世界都伏在上帝的審判之下。因為無人能夠靠遵行律法而被上帝視為義人，律法的本意是要使人知罪。

如果你們偏待人，嫌貧愛富，便是犯罪，律法要將你們定罪。人只要觸犯律法中的一條，就等於違犯了全部，因為那位說「不可通姦」的，也說過「不可殺人」。如果你沒有犯通姦罪，卻殺了人，你仍違犯了律法。

你要告訴他們，以色列的上帝耶和華說，『不遵守這約的人必受咒詛。

因為罪的代價就是死亡，而上帝藉著主基督耶穌賜下的禮物則是永生。

但我們知道人被稱為義人不是靠遵行律法，而是靠信耶穌基督。所以我們信了基督耶穌，以便因信基督而被稱為義人，而不是靠遵行律法，因為無人能夠靠遵行律法而被稱為義人。

因為有律法，就有刑罰；哪裡沒有律法，哪裡就沒有違法的事。

耶和華絕不會赦免這樣的人，祂必向這樣的人發烈怒，使記在這書上的一切咒詛臨到他身上，從世上抹去他的名字。

「看啊，我今天把祝福和咒詛擺在你們面前。你們若遵行我今天吩咐你們的誡命，就會得到祝福。你們若不遵行你們的上帝耶和華的誡命，偏離我今天吩咐你們當走的道路，隨從不認識的神明，必受咒詛。

因為所有的生命都屬於我，父和子都屬於我。誰犯罪，誰死亡。

「王又對左邊的人說，『你們這些被咒詛的人，走開！到專為魔鬼及其使者預備的永遠不滅的火裡去吧！

我沒認識律法之前是活的，但律法來了之後，罪就活了，而我卻死了。我發現那本來要使人活的誡命反而叫我死，因為罪利用誡命趁機引誘我，而且藉著誡命殺了我。其實律法是聖潔的，誡命也是聖潔、公義、良善的。既然如此，難道是良善的誡命叫我死嗎？當然不是！是罪藉著良善的誡命叫我死。這樣，罪藉著誡命叫我死就顯出它實在是邪惡至極！

耶穌對那些自以為義、藐視別人的人講了一個比喻：「有兩個人到聖殿裡禱告，一個是法利賽人，一個是稅吏。法利賽人站在那裡自言自語地禱告說，『上帝啊！我感謝你，因為我不像別人那樣勒索、不義、通姦，也不像這稅吏。我每週禁食兩次，奉獻全部收入的十分之一。』「但那稅吏卻遠遠地站著，連頭也不敢抬起來，捶著胸說，『上帝啊，求你憐憫我這個罪人！』

所以我要使你聖殿的祭司受辱，使雅各遭毀滅，使以色列被辱罵。
