They have taken some of their daughters as wives for themselves and their sons, and have mingled the holy race with the peoples around them. And the leaders and officials have led the way in this unfaithfulness.”

The men of Israel have married the daughters of some of those people. They’ve also taken some of those women for their sons to marry. So they’ve mixed our holy nation with the nations around us. We leaders and officials have also married women who don’t worship the Lord. By doing this, we have led the way in breaking our covenant with the Lord.”

For they have taken some of their daughters to be wives for themselves and for their sons, so that the holy race has mixed itself with the peoples of the lands. And in this faithlessness the hand of the officials and chief men has been foremost.”

For the men of Israel have married women from these people and have taken them as wives for their sons. So the holy race has become polluted by these mixed marriages. Worse yet, the leaders and officials have led the way in this outrage.”

“耶和华你神领你进入要得为业之地，从你面前赶出许多国民，就是赫人、革迦撒人、亚摩利人、迦南人、比利洗人、希未人、耶布斯人，共七国的民，都比你强大。耶和华你神将他们交给你击杀，那时你要把他们灭绝净尽，不可与他们立约，也不可怜恤他们。不可与他们结亲。不可将你的女儿嫁他们的儿子，也不可叫你的儿子娶他们的女儿；因为他必使你儿子转离不跟从主，去侍奉别神，以致耶和华的怒气向你们发作，就速速地将你们灭绝。

“你们要在我面前为圣洁的人。因此，田间被野兽撕裂牲畜的肉，你们不可吃，要丢给狗吃。”

你们和不信的原不相配，不要同负一轭。义和不义有什么相交呢？光明和黑暗有什么相通呢？

在祭司中查出娶外邦女子为妻的，就是耶书亚的子孙约萨达的儿子，和他弟兄玛西雅、以利以谢、雅立、基大利；他们便应许必休他们的妻。他们因有罪，就献群中的一只公绵羊赎罪。音麦的子孙中，有哈拿尼、西巴第雅。哈琳的子孙中，有玛西雅、以利雅、示玛雅、耶歇、乌西雅。巴施户珥的子孙中，有以利约乃、玛西雅、以实玛利、拿坦业、约撒拔、以利亚撒。利未人中，有约撒拔、示每、基拉雅（基拉雅就是基利他），还有毗他希雅、犹大、以利以谢。歌唱的人中有以利亚实。守门的人中，有沙龙、提联、乌利。以色列人巴录的子孙中，有拉米、耶西雅、玛基雅、米雅民、以利亚撒、玛基雅、比拿雅。以拦的子孙中，有玛他尼、撒迦利亚、耶歇、押底、耶利末、以利雅。萨土的子孙中，有以利约乃、以利亚实、玛他尼、耶利末、撒拔、亚西撒。比拜的子孙中，有约哈难、哈拿尼雅、萨拜、亚勒。巴尼的子孙中，有米书兰、玛鹿、亚大雅、雅述、示押、耶利末。巴哈摩押的子孙中，有阿底拿、基拉、比拿雅、玛西雅、玛他尼、比撒列、宾内、玛拿西。哈琳的子孙中，有以利以谢、伊示雅、玛基雅、示玛雅、西缅、便雅悯、玛鹿、示玛利雅。哈顺的子孙中，有玛特乃、玛达他、撒拔、以利法列、耶利买、玛拿西、示每。巴尼的子孙中，有玛玳、暗兰、乌益、比拿雅、比底雅、基禄、瓦尼雅、米利末、以利亚实、玛他尼、玛特乃、雅扫、巴尼、宾内、示每、示利米雅、拿单、亚大雅、玛拿底拜、沙赛、沙赖、亚萨利、示利米雅、示玛利雅、沙龙、亚玛利雅、约瑟。尼波的子孙中，有耶利、玛他提雅、撒拔、西比拿、雅玳、约珥、比拿雅。这些人都娶了外邦女子为妻，其中也有生了儿女的。

因为你归耶和华你神为圣洁的民；耶和华你神从地上的万民中拣选你，特作自己的子民。

犹大人行事诡诈，并且在以色列和耶路撒冷中行一件可憎的事；因为犹大人亵渎耶和华所喜爱的圣洁，娶侍奉外邦神的女子为妻。

属以拦的子孙、耶歇的儿子示迦尼对以斯拉说：“我们在此地娶了外邦女子为妻，干犯了我们的神，然而以色列人还有指望。

虽然神有灵的余力能造多人，他不是单造一人吗？为何只造一人呢？乃是他愿人得虔诚的后裔。所以当谨守你们的心，谁也不可以诡诈待幼年所娶的妻。

以色列民听见这律法，就与一切闲杂人绝交。先是蒙派管理我们神殿中库房的祭司以利亚实与多比雅结亲，

境内剩下的人若还有十分之一，也必被吞灭，像栗树、橡树虽被砍伐，树墩子却仍存留。这圣洁的种类在国中也是如此。”

因为不信的丈夫就因着妻子成了圣洁，并且不信的妻子就因着丈夫成了圣洁。不然，你们的儿女就不洁净，但如今他们是圣洁的了。

我就斥责犹大的贵胄说：“你们怎么行这恶事犯了安息日呢？

神的儿子们看见人的女子美貌，就随意挑选，娶来为妻。

大祭司以利亚实的孙子、耶何耶大的一个儿子是和伦人参巴拉的女婿，我就从我这里把他赶出去。
