这事做完了，众首领来见我，说：“以色列民和祭司并利未人，没有离绝迦南人、赫人、比利洗人、耶布斯人、亚扪人、摩押人、埃及人、亚摩利人，仍效法这些国的民，行可憎的事。

这些事完成以后，众领袖来接近我，说：“以色列百姓、祭司和利未人没有弃绝迦南人、赫人、比利洗人、耶布斯人、亚扪人、摩押人、埃及人和亚摩利人等列邦民族所行可憎的事。

斯事既畢、諸牧伯就我曰、以色列眾、及祭司利未人、未與斯土之民絕交、效迦南人、赫人、比利洗人、耶布斯人、亞捫人、摩押人、埃及人、亞摩利人、行其可憎之事、

嗣後民長就我曰、斯土之民、迦南人、赫人、比哩洗人、耶布士人、亞捫人、摩押人、埃及人、亞摩哩人、俱作不善、以色列族眾、祭司、及利未人、與居與處、則清濁不判。

斯後、諸牧伯就我曰、以色列民、祭司、及利未人、不絕離斯土之異族、行迦南人、赫人、比利洗人、耶布斯人、亞捫人、摩押人、伊及人、亞摩利人所行可憎之事、

After these things had been done, the leaders came to me and said,“ The people of Israel, including the priests and the Levites, have not kept themselves separate from the neighboring peoples with their detestable practices, like those of the Canaanites, Hittites, Perizzites, Jebusites, Ammonites, Moabites, Egyptians and Amorites.

After all these things had been done, the leaders came to me. They said,“ The people of Israel have committed sins. Even the priests and Levites have sinned. They haven’t kept themselves separate from the nations around them. The Lord hates the practices of those nations. He hates what the Canaanites, Hittites, Perizzites and Jebusites do. He also hates what the Ammonites, Moabites, Egyptians and Amorites do.

After these things had been done, the officials approached me and said,“ The people of Israel and the priests and the Levites have not separated themselves from the peoples of the lands with their abominations, from the Canaanites, the Hittites, the Perizzites, the Jebusites, the Ammonites, the Moabites, the Egyptians, and the Amorites.

When these things had been done, the Jewish leaders came to me and said,“ Many of the people of Israel, and even some of the priests and Levites, have not kept themselves separate from the other peoples living in the land. They have taken up the detestable practices of the Canaanites, Hittites, Perizzites, Jebusites, Ammonites, Moabites, Egyptians, and Amorites.

After these things had been done, the leaders approached me and said,“ The people of Israel, the priests, and the Levites have not separated themselves from the surrounding peoples whose detestable practices are like those of the Canaanites, Hethites, Perizzites, Jebusites, Ammonites, Moabites, Egyptians, and Amorites.

Now when these things had been completed, the officials approached me, saying,“ The people of Israel and the priests and the Levites have not separated themselves from the peoples of the lands, as to their abominations, those of the Canaanites, the Hittites, the Perizzites, the Jebusites, the Ammonites, the Moabites, the Egyptians, and the Amorites.

When these things were done, the leaders came to me, saying,“ The people of Israel and the priests and the Levites have not separated themselves from the peoples of the lands, with respect to the abominations of the Canaanites, the Hittites, the Perizzites, the Jebusites, the Ammonites, the Moabites, the Egyptians, and the Amorites.

Now when these things were done, the princes drew near unto me, saying, The people of Israel, and the priests and the Levites, have not separated themselves from the peoples of the lands, doing according to their abominations, even of the Canaanites, the Hittites, the Perizzites, the Jebusites, the Ammonites, the Moabites, the Egyptians, and the Amorites.

After these things had been done, the leaders approached me and said:“ The people of Israel, the priests, and the Levites have not separated themselves from the surrounding peoples whose detestable practices are like those of the Canaanites, Hittites, Perizzites, Jebusites, Ammonites, Moabites, Egyptians, and Amorites.

Now when these things were done, the princes came to me, saying, The people of Israel, and the priests, and the Levites, have not separated themselves from the people of the lands,[ doing] according to their abominations,[ even] of the Canaanites, the Hittites, the Perizzites, the Jebusites, the Ammonites, the Moabites, the Egyptians, and the Amorites.

Now when these things had been completed, the leaders approached me and said,“ The people of Israel, the priests, and the Levites have not separated themselves from the local residents who practice detestable things similar to those of the Canaanites, the Hittites, the Perizzites, the Jebusites, the Ammonites, the Moabites, the Egyptians, and the Amorites.

Now when these things were done, the princes came near to me, saying,“ The people of Israel, the priests, and the Levites, have not separated themselves from the peoples of the lands, following their abominations, even those of the Canaanites, the Hittites, the Perizzites, the Jebusites, the Ammonites, the Moabites, the Egyptians, and the Amorites.

以色列人就与一切外邦人离绝，站着承认自己的罪恶和列祖的罪孽。

“在这一切的事上，你们都不可玷污自己；因为我在你们面前所逐出的列邦，在这一切的事上玷污了自己；连地也玷污了，所以我追讨那地的罪孽，那地也吐出它的居民。故此，你们要守我的律例典章。这一切可憎恶的事，无论是本地人，是寄居在你们中间的外人，都不可行，（在你们以先居住那地的人行了这一切可憎恶的事，地就玷污了，）免得你们玷污那地的时候，地就把你们吐出，像吐出在你们以先的国民一样。无论什么人，行了其中可憎的一件事，必从民中剪除。所以，你们要守我所吩咐的，免得你们随从那些可憎的恶俗，就是在你们以先的人所常行的，以致玷污了自己。我是耶和华你们的神。”

人在何事上得以知道我和你的百姓在你眼前蒙恩呢？岂不是因你与我们同去、使我和你的百姓与地上的万民有分别吗？”

那时就要谨慎，不可在他们除灭之后随从他们的恶俗，陷入网罗，也不可访问他们的神说：‘这些国民怎样侍奉他们的神，我也要照样行。’你不可向耶和华你的神这样行，因为他们向他们的神行了耶和华所憎嫌所恨恶的一切事，甚至将自己的儿女用火焚烧，献与他们的神。

亚扪人多比雅站在旁边，说：“他们所修造的石墙，就是狐狸上去也必跐倒。”

只要照耶和华你神所吩咐的将这赫人、亚摩利人、迦南人、比利洗人、希未人、耶布斯人都灭绝净尽，免得他们教导你们学习一切可憎恶的事，就是他们向自己神所行的，以致你们得罪耶和华你们的神。

从掳到之地归回的以色列人和一切除掉所染外邦人污秽、归附他们、要寻求耶和华以色列神的人都吃这羊羔，欢欢喜喜地守除酵节七日；因为耶和华使他们欢喜，又使亚述王的心转向他们，坚固他们的手，作以色列神殿的工程。

就是基尼人、基尼洗人、甲摩尼人、赫人、比利洗人、利乏音人、亚摩利人、迦南人、革迦撒人、耶布斯人之地。”

你们离开吧！离开吧！从巴比伦出来。不要沾不洁净的物；要从其中出来。你们扛抬耶和华器皿的人哪，务要自洁。

我从高峰看他，从小山望他；这是独居的民，不列在万民中。

“亚扪人或是摩押人不可入耶和华的会；他们的子孙，虽过十代，也永不可入耶和华的会。因为你们出埃及的时候，他们没有拿食物和水在路上迎接你们，又因他们雇了美索不达米亚的毗夺人比珥的儿子巴兰来咒诅你们。然而耶和华你的神不肯听从巴兰，却使那咒诅的言语变为祝福的话，因为耶和华你的神爱你。

凡不遵首领和长老所议定、三日之内不来的，就必抄他的家，使他离开被掳归回之人的会。

当日，人念摩西的律法书给百姓听，遇见书上写着说，亚扪人和摩押人永不可入神的会；因为他们没有拿食物和水来迎接以色列人，且雇了巴兰咒诅他们，但我们的神使那咒诅变为祝福。以色列民听见这律法，就与一切闲杂人绝交。

以色列人住在什亭，百姓与摩押女子行起淫乱。因为这女子叫百姓来，一同给她们的神献祭，百姓就吃她们的祭物，跪拜她们的神。以色列人与巴力毗珥连合，耶和华的怒气就向以色列人发作。

祭司以斯拉站起来，对他们说：“你们有罪了；因你们娶了外邦的女子为妻，增添以色列人的罪恶。现在当向耶和华你们列祖的神认罪，遵行他的旨意，离绝这些国的民和外邦的女子。”

犹大的首领听见这事，就从王宫上到耶和华的殿，坐在耶和华殿的新门口。

参巴拉、多比雅、阿拉伯人、亚扪人、亚实突人听见修造耶路撒冷城墙，着手进行堵塞破裂的地方，就甚发怒。

“你到了耶和华你神所赐之地，那些国民所行可憎恶的事，你不可学着行。

你们从前住的埃及地，那里人的行为，你们不可效法，我要领你们到的迦南地，那里人的行为，也不可效法，也不可照他们的恶俗行。

你们和不信的原不相配，不要同负一轭。义和不义有什么相交呢？光明和黑暗有什么相通呢？基督和彼列有什么相和呢？信主的和不信主的有什么相干呢？神的殿和偶像有什么相同呢？因为我们是永生神的殿，就如神曾说：“我要在他们中间居住，在他们中间来往；我要作他们的神；他们要作我的子民。”又说：“你们务要从他们中间出来，与他们分别；不要沾不洁净的物，我就收纳你们。我要作你们的父；你们要作我的儿女。”这是全能的主说的。

将来耶和华领你进迦南人、赫人、亚摩利人、希未人、耶布斯人之地，就是他向你的祖宗起誓应许给你那流奶与蜜之地，那时你要在这月间守这礼。

“我的使者要在你前面行，领你到亚摩利人、赫人、比利洗人、迦南人、希未人、耶布斯人那里去，我必将他们剪除。

所罗门王在法老的女儿之外，又宠爱许多外邦女子，就是摩押女子、亚扪女子、以东女子、西顿女子、赫人女子。

到了第四代，他们必回到此地，因为亚摩利人的罪孽还没有满盈。”

首领和众民就对祭司、先知说：“这人是不该死的，因为他是奉耶和华我们神的名向我们说话。”

因为所罗门随从西顿人的女神亚斯他录和亚扪人可憎的神米勒公。所罗门行耶和华眼中看为恶的事，不效法他父亲大卫专心顺从耶和华。所罗门为摩押可憎的神基抹和亚扪人可憎的神摩洛，在耶路撒冷对面的山上建筑邱坛。

你称为犹太人，又倚靠律法，且指着神夸口；既从律法中受了教训，就晓得神的旨意，也能分别是非；又深信自己是给瞎子领路的，是黑暗中人的光，是蠢笨人的师傅，是小孩子的先生，在律法上有知识和真理的模范。你既是教导别人，还不教导自己吗？你讲说人不可偷窃，自己还偷窃吗？你说人不可奸淫，自己还奸淫吗？你厌恶偶像，自己还偷窃庙中之物吗？你指着律法夸口，自己倒犯律法、玷辱神吗？神的名在外邦人中，因你们受了亵渎，正如经上所记的。你若是行律法的，割礼固然于你有益；若是犯律法的，你的割礼就算不得割礼。

反与他们混杂相合，学习他们的行为，

他行耶和华眼中看为恶的事，效法耶和华在以色列人面前赶出的外邦人那可憎的事，
