Then Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel and Joshua son of Jozadak set to work to rebuild the house of God in Jerusalem. And the prophets of God were with them, supporting them.

Zerubbabel, the son of Shealtiel, began to work. So did Joshua, the son of Jozadak. They began to rebuild the house of God in Jerusalem. The prophets of God were right there with them. They were helping them.

Then Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel and Jeshua the son of Jozadak arose and began to rebuild the house of God that is in Jerusalem, and the prophets of God were with them, supporting them.

Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel and Jeshua son of Jehozadak responded by starting again to rebuild the Temple of God in Jerusalem. And the prophets of God were with them and helped them.

Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel and Jeshua son of Jozadak began to rebuild God’s house in Jerusalem. The prophets of God were with them, helping them.

then Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel and Jeshua the son of Jozadak rose up and began to rebuild the house of God which is in Jerusalem; and the prophets of God were with them, supporting them.

Then rose up Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, and Jeshua the son of Jozadak, and began to build the house of God which[ is] at Jerusalem: and with them[ were] the prophets of God helping them.

Then Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel and Jeshua the son of Jozadak began to rebuild the temple of God in Jerusalem. The prophets of God were with them, supporting them.

Then Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, and Jeshua the son of Jozadak rose up and began to build God’s house which is at Jerusalem; and with them were the prophets of God, helping them.

約薩達子耶書亞、及其同族、同族原文作兄弟他祭司、撒拉鐵子所羅巴伯、與其兄弟咸起、建以色列天主之祭臺、欲獻火焚祭於其上、循神人摩西律法書所載、

猶大長老建殿、無不亨通、正如先知哈該、及易多子撒迦利亞所傳之預言、遵以色列天主之命、與巴西王古列、大利烏、亞達薛西之諭、建造而竣其功、

主使我於異象中見大祭司約書亞、或作主示我以大祭司約書亞立於主之使者前、撒但立其右、以敵之、以敵之或作以禦又作以訟之主告撒但曰、撒但歟、我耶和華責爾、我耶和華選耶路撒冷者責爾、斯人如拔出於火之片柴、斯人如拔出於火之片柴原文作此非拔出於火之片柴乎約書亞衣污衣、立於天使前、彼謂立於其前者或作主告左右曰、當解其污衣、又謂約書亞曰、我除爾愆尤、衣爾美衣、

撒拉鐵子所羅巴伯、約撒答子大祭司約書亞、及諸遺民、遂遵主其天主之命、聽先知哈該、奉主其天主之遣、所傳之言、民俱敬畏主、主之使哈該奉主之遣告民云、主曰、我必眷祐爾、眷祐爾或作偕爾下同於是主感撒拉鐵子猶大方伯所羅巴伯之心、與約撒答子大祭司約書亞之心、及諸遺民之心、咸至、興工作於萬有之主其天主之殿、時在大利烏王二年六月二十四日、

是月之二十四日、主再有言、諭哈該曰、爾告猶大方伯所羅巴伯曰、我將震動天地、傾倒國位、翦滅列邦諸國列邦諸國或作異邦人之勢力、傾倒車與駕之者、使馬與乘之者俱顛蹶、使民以鋒刃自相殘殺、萬有之主曰、我僕撒拉鐵子所羅巴伯歟、當是日我必選爾、視爾為印、因我喜悅爾、此乃萬有之主所言、

我言此、非欲轄爾之信、乃助爾之樂、蓋爾以信而立焉、

彼謂我曰、其意即主所諭所羅巴伯云、萬有之主曰、非以勢、非以能、乃以我之神也、非以勢非以能乃以我之神也或作非恃能非恃力乃恃我之神事始能成爾於所羅巴伯前之巨山、何足稱道、必變為平地、彼取首石、人必歡呼云、恩寵必降其上、恩寵必降其上原文作恩寵恩寵歸之主有言諭我曰、所羅巴伯之手、築此殿基、其手必竣其工、爾則知萬有之主遣我就爾、

取此金銀作冠、加於約撒答子大祭司約書亞之首、十節十一節或作爾當自被擄而歸者即自巴比倫而歸之人中取數人當自黑玳多比亞大亞三家中取之又於是日當入西番雅子約西亞家當取金銀作冠加於約撒答子大祭司約書亞之首

主曰、所羅巴伯歟、爾當勉力、勉力或作強爾志下同約撒答子大祭司約書亞歟、爾當勉力、主曰、斯地之民歟、爾當勉力以操作、因我眷祐爾、此乃萬有之主所言、此循我所許爾之言、即爾出伊及時、我與爾立約所許者、我之神亦恆在爾中、故勿畏懼、或作爾出伊及時我與爾立約至於今我之神仍在爾中故勿畏懼萬有之主如是云、再俟片時、我將震動天地、震動滄海及陸地、亦將震動萬國、萬國之珍寶萬國之珍寶或作萬國所慕者又作萬國之可慕者將至、我將以榮耀充盈此殿、萬有之主已言之矣、萬有之主曰、所有銀屬我、所有金屬我、萬有之主曰、斯後時之殿、較前時之殿榮光更大、我必在此處賜平康、此乃萬有之主所言、○
