歲暮尼布甲尼撒王遣使臣、取王至巴比倫、虜耶和華殿之珍器、立約雅斤叔西底家、治猶大耶路撒冷、

惟驕其志、逆天之主、命取厥殿之器、王公后妃、用之飲酒、譽揚金銀銅鐵木石所造之上帝、彼不見不聞、不識不知、至於賜爾呼吸、整爾步履之上帝、爾反不頌美之、

進酒時、命取金銀器皿、乃王之祖尼布甲尼撒得之於耶路撒冷上帝殿者、遂取之至、王公后妃以之飲酒、

耶和華殿中之銅柱、盆座、巨盤、俱為迦勒底人所毀、攜其銅至巴比倫、其釜、鍫、剪、鼎、及諸銅器、以供役事者、悉攜之去、其盤、其盂、及金銀諸器、俱為侍衛長所取。昔所羅門為耶和華殿造諸銅器、不能權其輕重、即巨盤、盆座、二柱、

今我萬有之主以色列族之上帝耶和華言、我之殿宇、及猶大王宮、以及耶路撒冷邑所遺之器皿、俱必遷於巴比倫、待我眷顧斯民之日、我則使人負載、返於斯土。

其勝猶大王約雅金也、耶和華聽之、遷上帝殿中器皿之半、返於示拿、藏於其上帝殿旁之庫、

上帝殿中、大小器皿、以及寶物、王與諸伯珍貴之器、悉徙至巴比倫、

昔巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒遷我殿之器皿、自斯邑至巴比倫、若二載之期已屆、我必返之於故土。耶和華又曰、昔猶大王、約雅金子約雅斤、及猶大庶民、被擄至巴比倫、今我必返之斯土、蓋我已折巴比倫王之軛。先知耶利米、在耶和華殿、當祭司庶民前、告先知哈拿尼亞、曰、誠心所願、我望耶和華所行、一如爾言、其殿中之器皿、所擄之人民、自巴比倫返於斯土。
