主曰、殿中院內、誅戮人民、勿懼其玷、然後出殿、以殲邑眾。五人聽命。

主又諭之曰、爾當污殿、使諸院盈以被殺者、爾曹出哉、遂出而殺戮於邑中、

Then he said to them,“ Defile the temple and fill the courts with the slain. Go!” So they went out and began killing throughout the city.

Then he said to the men,“ Make the temple‘ unclean.’ Fill the courtyards with dead bodies. Go!” So they went out and started killing people all through the city.

Then he said to them,“ Defile the house, and fill the courts with the slain. Go out.” So they went out and struck in the city.

“ Defile the Temple!” the Lord commanded.“ Fill its courtyards with corpses. Go!” So they went and began killing throughout the city.

耶和華使迦勒底人的王起兵攻打他們，在他們的聖殿裡用刀擊殺他們的壯丁，毫不憐憫少男少女、老人和年高者。耶和華把他們全部交在他的手中。

他們以華美的飾物為驕傲，並用它製造醜惡可憎的神像，因此，我必使這一切變成他們眼中的污穢之物。我必使這一切成為外族人手中的獵物，惡人手中的戰利品，被任意糟蹋。我必轉臉不看他們，任由外族人褻瀆我的殿，強盜必進入殿裡大肆褻瀆。

這時，有人把加利利人獻祭時被彼拉多屠殺的事告訴了耶穌。

祂抬起右手張弓搭箭，宛若仇敵，殺戮一切悅人眼目的人，將祂的怒火撒向錫安城的帳篷。主像敵人一樣毀滅以色列，吞噬她的宮殿，夷平她的堡壘，使猶大人哀哭不止。祂摧毀自己的居所，如同摧毀花園；祂摧毀自己規定的聚會之處，使錫安的人民忘記安息日和節期。祂在烈怒中棄絕所有的君王和祭司。主撇棄自己的祭壇，憎惡自己的聖所，把耶路撒冷的殿牆交給敵人。他們像過節一樣，在耶和華的殿中喧嚷吵鬧。

上帝啊，外族人侵佔你的產業，玷污你的聖殿，使耶路撒冷淪為廢墟。他們把你僕人的屍體餵飛鳥，把你忠心子民的屍體給野獸吃，使耶路撒冷周圍血流成河，屍體無人埋葬。
