我听见祂高声呼喊说：“惩罚这城的人啊，拿起你们的兵器上前来吧！”

我听见他大声呼叫说：“惩罚这城的啊！你们要近前来，各人手里拿着灭命的武器。”

我聽見他大聲呼叫說：“懲罰這城的啊！你們要近前來，各人手裡拿著滅命的武器。”

他向我耳中大聲喊叫說：『這城的行政官哪，你們要走近前來，各人手裏拿着他那毁滅人的器械。』

彼大聲呼於我耳曰、其使理斯邑者、手執殘殺之器而來、

我聞主大聲呼曰、操斯邑刑賞之權者、當執殺人之器而來。

我耳中聞主大聲呼曰、當使操權以罰此邑者、各執殺人之器械前來、

Then I heard him call out in a loud voice,“ Bring near those who are appointed to execute judgment on the city, each with a weapon in his hand.”

Then I heard the Lord call out in a loud voice. He said,“ Bring here those who are appointed to bring my judgment on the city. Make sure each of them has a weapon in his hand.”

Then he cried in my ears with a loud voice, saying,“ Bring near the executioners of the city, each with his destroying weapon in his hand.”

Then the Lord thundered,“ Bring on the men appointed to punish the city! Tell them to bring their weapons with them!”

Then he called loudly in my hearing,“ Come near, executioners of the city, each of you with a destructive weapon in his hand.”

Then He cried out in my presence with a loud voice, saying,“ Come forward, you executioners of the city, each with his weapon of destruction in his hand.”

Then He called out in my hearing with a loud voice, saying,“ Let those who have charge over the city draw near, each with a deadly weapon in his hand.”

Then he cried in mine ears with a loud voice, saying, Cause ye them that have charge over the city to draw near, every man with his destroying weapon in his hand.

Then He called to me directly with a loud voice,“ Come near, executioners of the city, each of you with a destructive weapon in his hand.”

He cried also in mine ears with a loud voice, saying, Cause them that have charge over the city to draw near, even every man[ with] his destroying weapon in his hand.

Then he shouted in my ears,“ Approach, you who are to visit destruction on the city, each with his destructive weapon in his hand!”

Then he cried in my ears with a loud voice, saying,“ Cause those who are in charge of the city to draw near, each man with his destroying weapon in his hand.”

Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying,“ Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?” And I said,“ Here am I. Send me!” (niv)

When the Lord goes through the land to strike down the Egyptians, he will see the blood on the top and sides of the doorframe and will pass over that doorway, and he will not permit the destroyer to enter your houses and strike you down. (niv)

He said in a loud voice,“ Fear God and give him glory, because the hour of his judgment has come. Worship him who made the heavens, the earth, the sea and the springs of water.” (niv)

Surely the Sovereign Lord does nothing without revealing his plan to his servants the prophets.The lion has roared— who will not fear? The Sovereign Lord has spoken— who can but prophesy? (niv)

I send him against a godless nation, I dispatch him against a people who anger me, to seize loot and snatch plunder, and to trample them down like mud in the streets.But this is not what he intends, this is not what he has in mind; his purpose is to destroy, to put an end to many nations. (niv)

On the Lord’s Day I was in the Spirit, and I heard behind me a loud voice like a trumpet,which said:“ Write on a scroll what you see and send it to the seven churches: to Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamum, Thyatira, Sardis, Philadelphia and Laodicea.” (niv)

So they went in to make sacrifices and burnt offerings. Now Jehu had posted eighty men outside with this warning:“ If one of you lets any of the men I am placing in your hands escape, it will be your life for his life.” (niv)

While the man was standing beside me, I heard someone speaking to me from inside the temple.He said:“ Son of man, this is the place of my throne and the place for the soles of my feet. This is where I will live among the Israelites forever. The people of Israel will never again defile my holy name— neither they nor their kings— by their prostitution and the funeral offerings for their kings at their death. (niv)

And God sent an angel to destroy Jerusalem. But as the angel was doing so, the Lord saw it and relented concerning the disaster and said to the angel who was destroying the people,“ Enough! Withdraw your hand.” The angel of the Lord was then standing at the threshing floor of Araunah the Jebusite. (niv)
