Therefore I will deal with them in anger; I will not look on them with pity or spare them. Although they shout in my ears, I will not listen to them.”

因此，我也要以忿怒行事，我眼必不顾惜，也不可怜他们；他们虽向我耳中大声呼求，我还是不听。”

因此我也要以烈怒對待他們；我的眼必不顧惜；我必不可憐；他們雖向我耳中大聲呼求，我還是不聽他們。』

故我必以怒待之、我目不顧惜之、不加矜憫、彼雖大聲呼於我耳、猶不聽之、

故我怒憤烈、不加矜憫、滅之務盡、彼雖大聲籲呼於上、我必不應。

故我亦震怒罰之、我目不顧惜、我不加矜憫、彼雖大聲呼籲我、我必不應之、

So I am angry with them. I will punish them. I will not spare them or feel sorry for them. They might even shout in my ears. But I will not listen to them.”

Therefore I will act in wrath. My eye will not spare, nor will I have pity. And though they cry in my ears with a loud voice, I will not hear them.”

Therefore, I will respond in fury. I will neither pity nor spare them. And though they cry for mercy, I will not listen.”

Therefore I will respond with wrath. I will not show pity or spare them. Though they call loudly in my hearing, I will not listen to them.”

Therefore, I indeed will deal in wrath. My eye will have no pity nor will I spare; and though they cry out in My ears with a loud voice, yet I will not listen to them.”

Therefore I also will act in fury. My eye will not spare nor will I have pity; and though they cry in My ears with a loud voice, I will not hear them.”

Therefore will I also deal in wrath; mine eye shall not spare, neither will I have pity; and though they cry in mine ears with a loud voice, yet will I not hear them.

Therefore I will respond with wrath. I will not show pity or spare them. Though they cry out in My ears with a loud voice, I will not listen to them.”

Therefore I will act with fury! My eye will not pity them nor will I spare them. When they have shouted in my ears, I will not listen to them.”

Therefore I will also deal in wrath. My eye won’t spare, neither will I have pity. Though they cry in my ears with a loud voice, yet I will not hear them.”

Then they will cry out to the Lord, but he will not answer them. At that time he will hide his face from them because of the evil they have done.

When you spread out your hands in prayer, I hide my eyes from you; even when you offer many prayers, I am not listening. Your hands are full of blood!

“‘ When I called, they did not listen; so when they called, I would not listen,’ says the Lord Almighty.

Therefore this is what the Lord says:‘ I will bring on them a disaster they cannot escape. Although they cry out to me, I will not listen to them.

“ Then they will call to me but I will not answer; they will look for me but will not find me,

But you have forsaken me and served other gods, so I will no longer save you.Go and cry out to the gods you have chosen. Let them save you when you are in trouble!”

I will not look on you with pity; I will not spare you. I will surely repay you for your conduct and for the detestable practices among you.“‘ Then you will know that I am the Lord.’“ This is what the Sovereign Lord says:“‘ Disaster! Unheard- of disaster! See, it comes!The end has come! The end has come! It has roused itself against you. See, it comes!Doom has come upon you, upon you who dwell in the land. The time has come! The day is near! There is panic, not joy, on the mountains.I am about to pour out my wrath on you and spend my anger against you. I will judge you according to your conduct and repay you for all your detestable practices.I will not look on you with pity; I will not spare you. I will repay you for your conduct and for the detestable practices among you.“‘ Then you will know that it is I the Lord who strikes you.

So I will not look on them with pity or spare them, but I will bring down on their own heads what they have done.”

“‘ Now your impurity is lewdness. Because I tried to cleanse you but you would not be cleansed from your impurity, you will not be clean again until my wrath against you has subsided.

Although they fast, I will not listen to their cry; though they offer burnt offerings and grain offerings, I will not accept them. Instead, I will destroy them with the sword, famine and plague.”

The Lord is a jealous and avenging God; the Lord takes vengeance and is filled with wrath. The Lord takes vengeance on his foes and vents his wrath against his enemies.

Once the owner of the house gets up and closes the door, you will stand outside knocking and pleading,‘ Sir, open the door for us.’“ But he will answer,‘ I don’t know you or where you come from.’

But your iniquities have separated you from your God; your sins have hidden his face from you, so that he will not hear.

As I listened, he said to the others,“ Follow him through the city and kill, without showing pity or compassion.

Therefore as surely as I live, declares the Sovereign Lord, because you have defiled my sanctuary with all your vile images and detestable practices, I myself will shave you; I will not look on you with pity or spare you.A third of your people will die of the plague or perish by famine inside you; a third will fall by the sword outside your walls; and a third I will scatter to the winds and pursue with drawn sword.“ Then my anger will cease and my wrath against them will subside, and I will be avenged. And when I have spent my wrath on them, they will know that I the Lord have spoken in my zeal.

Then my wrath against you will subside and my jealous anger will turn away from you; I will be calm and no longer angry.
