I will turn my face away from the people, and robbers will desecrate the place I treasure. They will enter it and will defile it.

Let the poor and needy praise your name.Arise, God! Plead your own cause. Remember how the foolish man mocks you all day.Don’t forget the voice of your adversaries. The tumult of those who rise up against you ascends continually.

He says in his heart,“ God has forgotten. He hides his face. He will never see it.”

The nations will know that the house of Israel went into captivity for their iniquity; because they trespassed against me, and I hid my face from them; so I gave them into the hand of their adversaries, and they all fell by the sword.I did to them according to their uncleanness and according to their transgressions. I hid my face from them.

You have seen it, Yahweh. Don’t keep silent. Lord, don’t be far from me.

How long, God, shall the adversary reproach? Shall the enemy blaspheme your name forever?Why do you draw back your hand, even your right hand? Take it from your chest and consume them!
