I will give their wealth as plunder to foreigners and as loot to the wicked of the earth, who will defile it.

上帝啊，外國人進入你的產業，污瀆了你的聖殿，使耶路撒冷成為荒堆；

永恆主之殿的銅柱、和永恆主殿裏的盆座和銅海、迦勒底人都打碎了，將銅運到巴比倫去。他們又將鍋、鏟子、蠟燭剪子、碟子、和供職用的一切銅器、都拿了去；火鼎、碗、一切金器、一切銀器、護衛長也都把它當金銀拿了去。至於所羅門為永恆主之殿所造的兩根銅柱、一個銅海、和十個盆座：這一切器皿的銅、其重量就無法可稱了。

他把永恆主的殿和王的宮室都燒掉，也燒了耶路撒冷一切的房屋，連大幢的房屋都放火燒。耶路撒冷四圍所有的城牆、那跟從護衛長的迦勒底人軍隊都給拆毁了。城裏剩下的餘民、和那些投降了巴比倫王的人、以及餘剩的大眾或匠人、護衛長尼布撒拉旦、都使他們流亡了去。但是護衛長仍然將猶大地最貧寒的一些人留下來做修理葡萄園和種地的人。永恆主之殿的銅柱、和永恆主殿裏的盆座和銅海、迦勒底人都打碎了，將那銅運到巴比倫去。他們又將鍋、鏟子、蠟燭剪子、碗、碟子、和供職用的一切銅器、都拿了去；碗盆、火鼎、碗、鍋、臺燈、碟子、大盆、無論金的銀的、護衛長也都拿它當做金子銀子帶了去。至於所羅門王為永恆主之殿所造的兩根銅柱、一個銅海、和海以下的十二隻銅牛，十個盆座：這一切器皿的銅、其重量無法可稱。那些柱子，有一根高有十八肘，其周線有十二肘，其厚有四個指頭那麼厚；當中是空的。柱上有銅柱斗；一個柱斗高五肘；柱斗上四圍有網子和石榴，都是銅的；另一根柱子像這一樣，也有石榴。柱子有九十六個石榴是在外面、向着四方的；在網子四圍共有一百石榴。

迦勒底王將上帝殿裏所有的器皿、無論大小、和永恆主殿裏的寶物、以及王和大臣們的寶物、都帶到巴比倫去。迦勒底人燒了上帝的殿，拆毁了耶路撒冷的城牆，用火燒了城裏所有的宮堡，將城裏所有寶貴的器皿都毁壞了。
