爾人子歟、主耶和華對以色列地云、惟此末期、即斯土四境之末期已屆、

惟爾人子、主天主指指或作論以色列地如是云、末期已至、斯地四境之末期已臨、

“ And you, O son of man, thus says the Lord God to the land of Israel: An end! The end has come upon the four corners of the land.

“ Son of man, this is what the Sovereign Lord says to Israel:“ The end is here! Wherever you look— east, west, north, or south— your land is finished.

吉日變為愁慘之時、謳歌變為悲傷之語、各束以麻、各薙其髮、終日哀哭、若喪獨子。

問曰、亞麼士爾觀何物、曰、一筐盛以夏果、耶和華曰、我民以色列族、末期已屆、不復加以寛宥。

耶和華又曰、患難絡繹以至。末期既屆、所伏之禍機、突起攻擊、

敵襲予後、不敢行於市廛、生命幾絶、末期伊邇兮。

余傳命之時、庇拿雅子比喇底死、予俯伏於地、大聲呼曰、耶和華與、豈欲翦滅以色列族、靡有孑遺乎。

末期伊邇、故當廉節、儆醒祈禱、

既屆其時、我必震怒、視其所行不義、深堪痛疾、降災其身、不加矜憫、滅之務盡、使知我乃耶和華。

人子、爾當遙望耶路撒冷、指以色列地之聖所、而言未來事、

上帝謂挪亞曰、緣世億兆、暴虐徧行、我必翦滅、使之云亡。○

惟終忍者得救、天國福音、將傳天下、為證於萬民、然後末期至、○

曰、我不復鑒觀以眷顧之、必俟厥後當復如何、彼乃橫逆之族、無誠信之子、

巴比倫人、居於水濱、多得貨財、禍害已至、為人所虜。

其衣污衊、不念厥終、故遭非常之傾圮、而慰藉無人兮、彼曰、敵加困苦、望耶和華眷顧兮。

於是以色列全地、毀祭壇、伐林木、擣偶像成粉、乃歸耶路撒冷。

先知傳虛詞、祭司隨聲附和、國民以此為悅、將若之何。

爾將聞戰、及戰風聲、慎勿懼、此事必有、惟末期未至耳、

人子、以色列國人、奚用諺語云、時日遲延、先知之言不應。
