彼以惡為食、入口覺甘、藏於舌下、愛戀不舍、久含於口、一入腹中、即變為苦、在其腹中、成為虺蛇之毒、其併吞之貨財必吐出、天主使之吐自腹中、吸飲蛇毒、虺之毒氣必傷其命、流蜜與乳之江河、必不得見、勤勞而得之貲財、仍必償還、不得享用、不得因此貲財而樂、不得因此貲財而樂或作貲財幾何必償還幾何不得因之而樂貧民則欺壓遺棄、強據第宅、並不自建、心不覺安、雖得所欲、難保不失、或作心貪不知足雖得所欲難以保命其食一無所留、其財不永、當有餘之時、必遇困厄、必遇困厄或作必至窄狹之境人所遇之難、必加於其身、人所遇之難必加於其身或作受其欺壓者咸來攻之彼將充腹、天主向之震怒、正欲食時、天主雨災於其身、

爾之偶像、或雕或鑄、飾以金銀者、其時爾必視為視為或作使之污穢、棄之如不潔之物、必曰、此物當擲之於外、

爾胡為以金以金原文作權銀購不足為食之物、胡為以勞而得者易不能使爾得飽之物、爾聽從我、可食嘉肴、得享肥甘、而中心歡暢、

當是日人將以崇拜所製之金銀偶像、投諸鼢鼠蝙蝠之穴、

人若盡得天下而失其生命、何益之有、人將以何者易其生命乎、

貨財增、食者亦增、有貨財之人有何益、不過目觀而已、

彼適縱欲、肉食尚在其口、天主震怒即臨及其身、誅殺其間雄健之人、翦滅以色列族之壯丁、
