我怒之日、彼棄金銀於逵衢、欲救其命、欲果其腹、欲安其心、亦屬無益、昔作惡以得之、今使之顛躓。

“‘ They will throw their silver into the streets, and their gold will be treated as a thing unclean. Their silver and gold will not be able to deliver them in the day of the Lord’s wrath. It will not satisfy their hunger or fill their stomachs, for it has caused them to stumble into sin.

“‘ They will throw their silver into the streets. They will treat their gold like an“ unclean” thing. Their silver and gold won’t be able to save them on the day I pour out my anger. It will not be able to satisfy their hunger. Their stomachs can’t be filled with it. Their silver and gold have tripped them up. It has made them fall into sin.

They cast their silver into the streets, and their gold is like an unclean thing. Their silver and gold are not able to deliver them in the day of the wrath of the Lord. They cannot satisfy their hunger or fill their stomachs with it. For it was the stumbling block of their iniquity.

“ They will throw their money in the streets, tossing it out like worthless trash. Their silver and gold won’t save them on that day of the Lord’s anger. It will neither satisfy nor feed them, for their greed can only trip them up.

They will not satisfy their appetites or fill their stomachs, for these were the stumbling blocks that brought about their iniquity.

They cannot satisfy their appetite, nor can they fill their stomachs, because their wrongdoing has become a cause of stumbling.

在耶和华发怒的日子，他们的金银也不能救他们，全地都要被他的妒火吞灭；因为他要彻底毁灭地上所有的居民，真是可怕的毁灭。

在神发怒的日子，财物毫无益处；唯有公义能救人脱离死亡。

“人子啊！这些人已经把他们的偶像接到心里去，把那陷他们在罪孽中的绊脚石放在自己面前，我怎能让他们向我求问呢？因此，你要告诉他们，对他们说：‘主耶和华这样说：以色列家的人中，凡把他的偶像接到心里去，把那陷自己在罪孽中的绊脚石放在自己面前，却又来见先知的，我耶和华必按他拜众多偶像的罪报应他，

因为以色列家的人中，或是在以色列寄居的外族人中，凡与我疏远，把他们的偶像接到心里去，把那陷自己在罪孽中的绊脚石放在自己面前，却又来见先知，要为自己求问我的，我耶和华必亲自报应他；

因为这些利未人曾在他们的偶像前侍候这人民，成了陷以色列家在罪孽中的绊脚石。因此，我向他们举手起誓，他们必要担当自己的罪孽。这是主耶和华的宣告。

邪恶在他的口中虽然甘甜，他把邪恶藏在自己的舌下。他虽然爱惜不舍，含在口中，然而他的食物在他腹中却要变坏，在他里面成为眼镜蛇的毒汁。他吞下了财宝，还要把它吐出来，神要从他的腹中把它掏出来，他必吸吮眼镜蛇的毒液，腹蛇的舌头必把他杀死。他必不得看见江河，就是流蜜与奶的江河。他劳苦所得的必归别人，自己却不得吃用；他交易得来的财利，自己却不得享用。因为他欺压穷人，不顾他们，强抢不是自己建造的房屋。因为他内心没有安宁，他不能保存他喜爱的东西。他吃得一无所剩，所以他的福乐不能持久；他在满足有余的时候，陷入困境，受过苦的人的手都临到他身上。他正在填饱肚腹的时候，神就把猛烈的怒气降在他身上，他正在吃饭的时候，神要把这怒气如雨降在他身上。

然后，我要对我的灵魂说：灵魂啊，你拥有许多好东西，足够多年享用，只管安安逸逸地吃喝快乐吧！’神却对他说：‘无知的人哪，今天晚上，你的灵魂必被取去，你所预备的要归给谁呢？’

你要抛弃你那些包着银的雕像和镀了金的铸像，如同污秽之物一般抛弃它们，又对它们说：“去吧！”

你们为什么用银子去买那不是食物的呢？为什么用你们劳碌得来的去买那不能使人饱足的呢？你们要留心听我的话，就可以吃美物，使你们的心灵享受肥甘。

到那日，人必把那些自己所做、供自己敬拜的金偶像和银偶像，抛给田鼠和蝙蝠。

人若赚得全世界，却赔上自己的生命，有什么好处呢？人还能用什么换回自己的生命呢？

贪爱银子的，不因有银子满足；贪爱财富的，也不因得利知足。这也是虚空。

他们还没有因所愿的满足，食物仍在他们口中的时候，神的怒气就向他们发作，杀了他们中间最肥壮的人，击倒了以色列的年轻人。

大卫也说：“愿他们的筵席成为他们的网罗、陷阱、绊脚石和报应；

于是他们在黄昏的时候起来逃跑，他们丢下他们的帐幕，他们的马匹和他们的驴子；军营仍在那里，他们却只顾逃命去了。这些患痲风病的人来到军营的外边，他们进入其中一座帐幕，又吃又喝，并且从那里取去金子、银子和衣服，然后离去，把东西收藏起来。他们再回去，进入另一座帐幕，从那里拿走财物，去收藏起来。

他们就去追踪亚兰军直到约旦河。看哪，沿途堆满了衣物器具，就是亚兰人在匆忙逃走时丢弃的。于是使者回去向王报告。
