有爵位者如麻、其所作為如火、遇之必燃、同遭焚燬、撲滅無人。

亞文有崇坵、以色列族陟之、以犯罪愆、故斯邱必荒蕪、荊棘叢生於祭壇、崇事之人、將對山曰壓余、對陵曰掩余。

我民之田、斯邑之室、昔則欣然喜悅、今則荊棘叢生、宮闕毀圮、邑民離散、城堞戍樓、竟成荒竇、野驢遨遊、群畜嚙蒭、

工人雕木偶、鑄金像、俱屬虛偽、口不能言、作之者亦賴之、何益之有、

耶路撒冷城變為瓦礫。野犬藏於其中、猶大諸邑荒蕪、無人居處、我使之然。

造作之、倚賴之、與彼無異兮、

我耶和華震怒之日、彼有金銀、不得贖其生命、我怒憤烈、必毀斯土、所居之民、必猝然殄絶之焉。

我必付爾於敵手、摧爾妓室、毀爾高臺、去爾衣服、奪爾珍寶、俾爾裸體。

是日也、人以所作之金銀偶像、居恆所崇拜者、投於鼹鼠蝙蝠之穴。

我耶和華滅列邦、毀城邑、使屋隅傾圯、逵衢荒寂、無人履之、無人居之、我告斯民曰、爾當寅畏我躬、承我教誨、則不降罰、絶爾居所、然爾惟惡是作、靡有已時、

我聖山之民、於四境崇丘、干犯罪戾、故我必以爾土產貨財、為敵人所攘奪。

故緣爾故、人將耕郇邑之地、盡成田疇、耶路撒冷悉變瓦礫、斯殿之山將為林藪。

人攻斯邦、若稚獅狂吼、荒蕪其地、燬焚其邑、無人居之。

凡諸偶像、盡歸消亡。

風聞敵至、北方大震、使猶大諸邑荒蕪、為野犬之藪穴。

在郇邑聞彼哀歌曰、我見虜、離故土、我室已毀、不能容膝、含羞蒙垢。

以色列族咸懷二心、必遭重罰、傾其祭壇、毀其偶像。
