It will be the duty of the prince to provide the burnt offerings, grain offerings and drink offerings at the festivals, the New Moons and the Sabbaths— at all the appointed festivals of Israel. He will provide the sin offerings, grain offerings, burnt offerings and fellowship offerings to make atonement for the Israelites.

He must provide the burnt offerings, grain offerings and drink offerings. They will be for the yearly feasts, New Moon feasts and Sabbath days. And the burnt offering that the prince shall offer unto the LORD in the sabbath day[ shall be] six lambs without blemish, and a ram without blemish.And the meat offering[ shall be] an ephah for a ram, and the meat offering for the lambs as he shall be able to give, and an hin of oil to an ephah.And in the day of the new moon[ it shall be] a young bullock without blemish, and six lambs, and a ram: they shall be without blemish.And he shall prepare a meat offering, an ephah for a bullock, and an ephah for a ram, and for the lambs according as his hand shall attain unto, and an hin of oil to an ephah.And when the prince shall enter, he shall go in by the way of the porch of[ that] gate, and he shall go forth by the way thereof.But when the people of the land shall come before the LORD in the solemn feasts, he that entereth in by the way of the north gate to worship shall go out by the way of the south gate; and he that entereth by the way of the south gate shall go forth by the way of the north gate: he shall not return by the way of the gate whereby he came in, but shall go forth over against it.And the prince in the midst of them, when they go in, shall go in; and when they go forth, shall go forth.And in the feasts and in the solemnities the meat offering shall be an ephah to a bullock, and an ephah to a ram, and to the lambs as he is able to give, and an hin of oil to an ephah.Now when the prince shall prepare a voluntary burnt offering or peace offerings voluntarily unto the LORD,[ one] shall then open him the gate that looketh toward the east, and he shall prepare his burnt offering and his peace offerings, as he did on the sabbath day: then he shall go forth; and after his going forth[ one] shall shut the gate.

And it shall come to pass,[ that] from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the LORD.

[ He appointed] also the king’s portion of his substance for the burnt offerings,[ to wit], for the morning and evening burnt offerings, and the burnt offerings for the sabbaths, and for the new moons, and for the set feasts, as[ it is] written in the law of the LORD.

seven sabbaths shall be complete:Even unto the morrow after the seventh sabbath shall ye number fifty days; and ye shall offer a new meat offering unto the LORD.Ye shall bring out of your habitations two wave loaves of two tenth deals: they shall be of fine flour; they shall be baken with leaven;[ they are] the firstfruits unto the LORD.And ye shall offer with the bread seven lambs without blemish of the first year, and one young bullock, and two rams: they shall be[ for] a burnt offering unto the LORD, with their meat offering, and their drink offerings,[ even] an offering made by fire, of sweet savour unto the LORD.Then ye shall sacrifice one kid of the goats for a sin offering, and two lambs of the first year for a sacrifice of peace offerings.And the priest shall wave them with the bread of the firstfruits[ for] a wave offering before the LORD, with the two lambs: they shall be holy to the LORD for the priest.And ye shall proclaim on the selfsame day,[ that] it may be an holy convocation unto you: ye shall do no servile work[ therein: it shall be] a statute for ever in all your dwellings throughout your generations.And when ye reap the harvest of your land, thou shalt not make clean riddance of the corners of thy field when thou reapest, neither shalt thou gather any gleaning of thy harvest: thou shalt leave them unto the poor, and to the stranger: I[ am] the LORD your God.And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, In the seventh month, in the first[ day] of the month, shall ye have a sabbath, a memorial of blowing of trumpets, an holy convocation.Ye shall do no servile work[ therein]: but ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD.And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,Also on the tenth[ day] of this seventh month[ there shall be] a day of atonement: it shall be an holy convocation unto you; For Hezekiah king of Judah did give to the congregation a thousand bullocks and seven thousand sheep; and the princes gave to the congregation a thousand bullocks and ten thousand sheep: and a great number of priests sanctified themselves.

And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,Command the children of Israel, and say unto them, My offering,[ and] my bread for my sacrifices made by fire,[ for] a sweet savour unto me, shall ye observe to offer unto me in their due season.And thou shalt say unto them, This[ is] the offering made by fire which ye shall offer unto the LORD; two lambs of the first year without spot day by day,[ for] a continual burnt offering.The one lamb shalt thou offer in the morning, and the other lamb shalt thou offer at even;And a tenth[ part] of an ephah of flour for a meat offering, mingled with the fourth[ part] of an hin of beaten oil.[ It is] a continual burnt offering, which was ordained in mount Sinai for a sweet savour, a sacrifice made by fire unto the LORD.And the drink offering thereof[ shall be] the fourth[ part] of an hin for the one lamb: in the holy[ place] shalt thou cause the strong wine to be poured unto the LORD[ for] a drink offering.And the other lamb shalt thou offer at even: as the meat offering of the morning, and as the drink offering thereof, thou shalt offer[ it], a sacrifice made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD.And on the sabbath day two lambs of the first year without spot, and two tenth deals of flour[ for] a meat offering, mingled with oil, and the drink offering thereof:[ This is] the burnt offering of every sabbath, beside the continual burnt offering, and his drink offering.And in the beginnings of your months ye shall offer a burnt offering unto the LORD; two young bullocks, and one ram, seven lambs of the first year without spot;And three tenth deals of flour[ for] a meat offering, mingled with oil, for one bullock; and two tenth deals of flour[ for] a meat offering, mingled with oil, for one ram;And a several tenth deal of flour mingled with oil[ for] a meat offering unto one lamb;[ for] a burnt offering of a sweet savour, a sacrifice made by fire unto the LORD.And their drink offerings shall be half an hin of wine unto a bullock, and the third[ part] of an hin unto a ram, and a fourth[ part] of an hin unto a lamb: this[ is] the burnt offering of every month throughout the months of the year.And one kid of the goats for a sin offering unto the LORD shall be offered, beside the continual burnt offering, and his drink offering.And in the fourteenth day of the first month[ is] the passover of the LORD.And in the fifteenth day of this month[ is] the feast: seven days shall unleavened bread be eaten.In the first day[ shall be] an holy convocation; ye shall do no manner of servile work[ therein]:But ye shall offer a sacrifice made by fire[ for] a burnt offering unto the LORD; two young bullocks, and one ram, and seven lambs of the first year: they shall be unto you without blemish:And their meat offering[ shall be of] flour mingled with oil: three tenth deals shall ye offer for a bullock, and two tenth deals for a ram;A several tenth deal shalt thou offer for every lamb, throughout the seven lambs:And one goat[ for] a sin offering, to make an atonement for you.Ye shall offer these beside the burnt offering in the morning, which[ is] for a continual burnt offering.After this manner ye shall offer daily, throughout the seven days, the meat of the sacrifice made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD: it shall be offered beside the continual burnt offering, and his drink offering.And on the seventh day ye shall have an holy convocation; ye shall do no servile work.Also in the day of the firstfruits, when ye bring a new meat offering unto the LORD, after your weeks[ be out], ye shall have an holy convocation; ye shall do no servile work:But ye shall offer the burnt offering for a sweet savour unto the LORD; two young bullocks, one ram, seven lambs of the first year;And their meat offering of flour mingled with oil, three tenth deals unto one bullock, two tenth deals unto one ram,A several tenth deal unto one lamb, throughout the seven lambs;

And Solomon offered a sacrifice of peace offerings, which he offered unto the LORD, two and twenty thousand oxen, and an hundred and twenty thousand sheep. So the king and all the children of Israel dedicated the house of the LORD.The same day did the king hallow the middle of the court that[ was] before the house of the LORD: for there he offered burnt offerings, and meat offerings, and the fat of the peace offerings: because the brasen altar that[ was] before the LORD[ was] too little to receive the burnt offerings, and meat offerings, and the fat of the peace offerings.

And when these days are expired, it shall be,[ that] upon the eighth day, and[ so] forward, the priests shall make your burnt offerings upon the altar, and your peace offerings; and I will accept you, saith the Lord GOD.

Then Solomon offered burnt offerings unto the LORD on the altar of the LORD, which he had built before the porch,Even after a certain rate every day, offering according to the commandment of Moses, on the sabbaths, and on the new moons, and on the solemn feasts, three times in the year,[ even] in the feast of unleavened bread, and in the feast of weeks, and in the feast of tabernacles.

By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of[ our] lips giving thanks to his name.

Moreover, because I have set my affection to the house of my God, I have of mine own proper good, of gold and silver,[ which] I have given to the house of my God, over and above all that I have prepared for the holy house,[ Even] three thousand talents of gold, of the gold of Ophir, and seven thousand talents of refined silver, to overlay the walls of the houses[ withal]:The gold for[ things] of gold, and the silver for[ things] of silver, and for all manner of work[ to be made] by the hands of artificers. And who[ then] is willing to consecrate his service this day unto the LORD?Then the chief of the fathers and princes of the tribes of Israel, and the captains of thousands and of hundreds, with the rulers of the king’s work, offered willingly,And gave for the service of the house of God of gold five thousand talents and ten thousand drams, and of silver ten thousand talents, and of brass eighteen thousand talents, and one hundred thousand talents of iron.And they with whom[ precious] stones were found gave[ them] to the treasure of the house of the LORD, by the hand of Jehiel the Gershonite.Then the people rejoiced, for that they offered willingly, because with perfect heart they offered willingly to the LORD: and David the king also rejoiced with great joy.

Moreover I make a decree what ye shall do to the elders of these Jews for the building of this house of God: that of the king’s goods,[ even] of the tribute beyond the river, forthwith expenses be given unto these men, that they be not hindered.And that which they have need of, both young bullocks, and rams, and lambs, for the burnt offerings of the God of heaven, wheat, salt, wine, and oil, according to the appointment of the priests which[ are] at Jerusalem, let it be given them day by day without fail:

And when David had made an end of offering the burnt offerings and the peace offerings, he blessed the people in the name of the LORD.And he dealt to every one of Israel, both man and woman, to every one a loaf of bread, and a good piece of flesh, and a flagon[ of wine].

And he dealt among all the people,[ even] among the whole multitude of Israel, as well to the women as men, to every one a cake of bread, and a good piece[ of flesh], and a flagon[ of wine]. So all the people departed every one to his house.

Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us:Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened[ bread] of sincerity and truth.

And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace.

Thou hast ascended on high, thou hast led captivity captive: thou hast received gifts for men; yea,[ for] the rebellious also, that the LORD God might dwell[ among them].

Or who hath first given to him, and it shall be recompensed unto him again?For of him, and through him, and to him,[ are] all things: to whom[ be] glory for ever. Amen.

Then the king and all the people offered sacrifices before the LORD.And king Solomon offered a sacrifice of twenty and two thousand oxen, and an hundred and twenty thousand sheep: so the king and all the people dedicated the house of God.

Then rose up the chief of the fathers of Judah and Benjamin, and the priests, and the Levites, with all[ them] whose spirit God had raised, to go up to build the house of the LORD which[ is] in Jerusalem.

For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:

I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.The Jews therefore strove among themselves, saying, How can this man give us[ his] flesh to eat?Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you.Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed.He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him.As the living Father hath sent me, and I live by the Father: so he that eateth me, even he shall live by me.

And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour.

And whatsoever ye do in word or deed,[ do] all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.

Also king Solomon, and all the congregation of Israel that were assembled unto him before the ark, sacrificed sheep and oxen, which could not be told nor numbered for multitude.

All[ they that be] fat upon earth shall eat and worship: all they that go down to the dust shall bow before him: and none can keep alive his own soul.

My strength is dried up like a potsherd; and my tongue cleaveth to my jaws; and thou hast brought me into the dust of death.For dogs have compassed me: the assembly of the wicked have inclosed me: they pierced my hands and my feet.I may tell all my bones: they look[ and] stare upon me.They part my garments among them, and cast lots upon my vesture.But be not thou far from me, O LORD: O my strength, haste thee to help me.Deliver my soul from the sword; my darling from the power of the dog.Save me from the lion’s mouth: for thou hast heard me from the horns of the unicorns.I will declare thy name unto my brethren: in the midst of the congregation will I praise thee.Ye that fear the LORD, praise him; all ye the seed of Jacob, glorify him; and fear him, all ye the seed of Israel.For he hath not despised nor abhorred the affliction of the afflicted; neither hath he hid his face from him; but when he cried unto him, he heard.My praise[ shall be] of thee in the great congregation: I will pay my vows before them that fear him.The meek shall eat and be satisfied: they shall praise the LORD that seek him: your heart shall live for ever.

Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.

We have an altar, whereof they have no right to eat which serve the tabernacle.

And Josiah gave to the people, of the flock, lambs and kids, all for the passover offerings, for all that were present, to the number of thirty thousand, and three thousand bullocks: these[ were] of the king’s substance.And his princes gave willingly unto the people, to the priests, and to the Levites: Hilkiah and Zechariah and Jehiel, rulers of the house of God, gave unto the priests for the passover offerings two thousand and six hundred[ small cattle], and three hundred oxen.
