The best of all the firstfruits and of all your special gifts will belong to the priests. You are to give them the first portion of your ground meal so that a blessing may rest on your household.

Thou shalt not delay to offer of thy harvest, and of the outflow of thy presses. The first- born of thy sons shalt thou give unto me.

Bring ye the whole tithe into the store- house, that there may be food in my house, and prove me now herewith, saith Jehovah of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast its fruit before the time in the field, saith Jehovah of hosts.

And your heave- offering shall be reckoned unto you, as though it were the grain of the threshing- floor, and as the fulness of the winepress.Thus ye also shall offer a heave- offering unto Jehovah of all your tithes, which ye receive of the children of Israel; and thereof ye shall give Jehovah’s heave- offering to Aaron the priest.Out of all your gifts ye shall offer every heave- offering of Jehovah, of all the best thereof, even the hallowed part thereof out of it.Therefore thou shalt say unto them, When ye heave the best thereof from it, then it shall be reckoned unto the Levites as the increase of the threshing- floor, and as the increase of the wine- press.

Of his own will he brought us forth by the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.

Honor Jehovah with thy substance, And with the first- fruits of all thine increase:So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, And thy vats shall overflow with new wine.

And thou shalt set it down before Jehovah thy God, and worship before Jehovah thy God:and thou shalt rejoice in all the good which Jehovah thy God hath given unto thee, and unto thy house, thou, and the Levite, and the sojourner that is in the midst of thee.When thou hast made an end of tithing all the tithe of thine increase in the third year, which is the year of tithing, then thou shalt give it unto the Levite, to the sojourner, to the fatherless, and to the widow, that they may eat within thy gates, and be filled.And thou shalt say before Jehovah thy God, I have put away the hallowed things out of my house, and also have given them unto the Levite, and unto the sojourner, to the fatherless, and to the widow, according to all thy commandment which thou hast commanded me: I have not transgressed any of thy commandments, neither have I forgotten them:I have not eaten thereof in my mourning, neither have I put away thereof, being unclean, nor given thereof for the dead: I have hearkened to the voice of Jehovah my God; I have done according to all that thou hast commanded me.Look down from thy holy habitation, from heaven, and bless thy people Israel, and the ground which thou hast given us, as thou swarest unto our fathers, a land flowing with milk and honey.
