既在偶像前、為民供役、為以色列家之窒礙、陷之於罪、故我舉手而言、彼必負其罪、主耶和華言之矣、

既崇事偶像、誘以色列族陷於愆尤、故我耶和華指己而誓、必加以罪、

主天主曰、利未人、曾於偶像前為民供役事、使以色列族陷於罪愆、故我發誓必罰之、使負罪愆、

But because they served them in the presence of their idols and made the people of Israel fall into sin, therefore I have sworn with uplifted hand that they must bear the consequences of their sin, declares the Sovereign Lord.

But these Levites served the people of Israel. They served while the Israelites were worshiping the statues of their gods. They made the people fall into sin. So I raised my hand and made a promise. I warned them that I would punish them because of their sin,” announces the Lord and King.

Because they ministered to them before their idols and became a stumbling block of iniquity to the house of Israel, therefore I have sworn concerning them, declares the Lord God, and they shall bear their punishment.

But they encouraged my people to worship idols, causing Israel to fall into deep sin. So I have taken a solemn oath that they must bear the consequences for their sins, says the Sovereign Lord.

Because they ministered to the house of Israel before their idols and became a sinful stumbling block to them, therefore I swore an oath against them”— this is the declaration of the Lord GOD—“ that they would bear the consequences of their iniquity.

亞哈斯王到大馬士革迎接亞述王提革拉‧毗列色，在大馬士革看見一座壇。亞哈斯王把壇的規模和樣式，以及作法的細節，送到烏利亞祭司那裏。烏利亞祭司照着亞哈斯王從大馬士革所送來的一切，在亞哈斯王還未從大馬士革回來之前，築了一座壇。王從大馬士革回來，看見壇，走近壇前，在壇上獻祭。他燒燔祭和素祭，獻澆酒祭，將平安祭牲的血灑在壇上。他移動耶和華面前的銅壇，從殿的前面，新壇和耶和華殿的中間，搬到新壇的北邊。亞哈斯王吩咐烏利亞祭司說：「早晨的燔祭、晚上的素祭，王的燔祭、素祭，國內眾百姓的燔祭、素祭、澆酒祭都要燒在大壇上。燔祭牲和其他祭牲的血全都要灑在這壇上。至於銅壇，我要作求問之用。」烏利亞祭司就照着亞哈斯王所吩咐的一切做了。

所以他向他們起誓，必叫他們倒在曠野，

「人子啊，這些人在心中設立偶像，把陷自己於罪的絆腳石放在面前，我真的能讓他們求問嗎？所以你要告訴他們，對他們說：『主耶和華如此說：以色列家的人，凡在心中設立偶像，把陷自己於罪的絆腳石放在面前，卻來到先知那裏的，我－耶和華在他所求的事上，必因他拜許多偶像向他施行報應，

並且我在曠野向他們起誓，要把他們驅散到列國，分散在列邦；

並且我在曠野向他們起誓，必不領他們進入我所賜的流奶與蜜之地，就是全地中最美好之地；

「以色列人走迷的時候，利未人遠離我，隨從他們的偶像走迷離開我，他們必擔當自己的罪孽。

我所看見的那踏海踏地的天使向天舉起右手，指着創造天和天上之物、地和地上之物、海和海中之物、直活到永永遠遠的那位起誓，說：「不再有時日了。」

我向天舉手，我憑我的永生起誓說：我若磨我閃亮的刀，我的手掌握審判權，就必報復我的敵人，報應那些恨我的人。我要使我的箭飲血而醉，就是被殺被擄之人的血；我的刀也要吃肉，就是仇敵披髮頭顱的肉。』

你們為何踐踏我所吩咐獻在我居所的祭物和供物呢？你為何尊重你的兒子過於尊重我，將我百姓以色列所獻美好的祭物都拿去養肥你們自己呢？』因此，耶和華－以色列的神說：『我確實說過，你和你祖宗的家必永遠行在我面前，但現在耶和華卻說，我絕不會這樣做。因為尊重我的，我必尊重他；藐視我的，他必被輕視。

因為引導這百姓的使他們走入迷途，被引導的都必被吞滅。

那日我向他們起誓，要領他們出埃及地，到我為他們所找到的流奶與蜜之地，就是全地中最美好之地。

我的百姓因無知識而滅亡。你拋棄知識，我也必拋棄你，使你不再作我的祭司。你既忘了你神的律法，我也必忘記你的兒女。

我領他們到我起誓應許賜給他們的地，他們看見各高岡、各茂密的樹，就在那裏獻祭，獻上惹我發怒的供物，也在那裏焚燒馨香的祭，獻澆酒祭。

他們不可親近我，作事奉我的祭司，也不可挨近我任何一件聖物，就是至聖的物；他們卻要擔當自己的羞辱和所行可憎之事的報應。

耶和華指着雅各的驕傲起誓說：「他們這一切的行為，我必永遠不忘。

眾祭司啊，要聽這話！以色列家啊，要留心聽！王室啊，要側耳而聽！審判將臨到你們，因你們在米斯巴如羅網，在他泊山如張開的網。

你們卻偏離正道，使許多人在這訓誨上絆跌。你們破壞了我與利未人所立的約。這是萬軍之耶和華說的。所以我使你們被眾百姓藐視，看為卑賤；因你們不遵守我的道，在律法上看人的情面。」
