因為這些利未人曾在他們的偶像面前伺候這人民，就成了絆腳物使以色列家陷於罪孽中；故此我舉手起誓論到他們，主永恆主發神諭說，他們須要擔受他們自己的罪罰。

既在偶像前、為民供役、為以色列家之窒礙、陷之於罪、故我舉手而言、彼必負其罪、主耶和華言之矣、

既崇事偶像、誘以色列族陷於愆尤、故我耶和華指己而誓、必加以罪、

主天主曰、利未人、曾於偶像前為民供役事、使以色列族陷於罪愆、故我發誓必罰之、使負罪愆、

But because they served them in the presence of their idols and made the people of Israel fall into sin, therefore I have sworn with uplifted hand that they must bear the consequences of their sin, declares the Sovereign Lord.

But these Levites served the people of Israel. They served while the Israelites were worshiping the statues of their gods. They made the people fall into sin. So I raised my hand and made a promise. I warned them that I would punish them because of their sin,” announces the Lord and King.

Because they ministered to them before their idols and became a stumbling block of iniquity to the house of Israel, therefore I have sworn concerning them, declares the Lord God, and they shall bear their punishment.

But they encouraged my people to worship idols, causing Israel to fall into deep sin. So I have taken a solemn oath that they must bear the consequences for their sins, says the Sovereign Lord.

Because they ministered to the house of Israel before their idols and became a sinful stumbling block to them, therefore I swore an oath against them”— this is the declaration of the Lord GOD—“ that they would bear the consequences of their iniquity.

亞哈斯王往大馬色去迎接亞述王提革拉毘列色，看見在大馬色的祭壇；亞哈斯王就把祭壇的樣式和模形照它一切的作法、送到祭司烏利亞那裏。祭司烏利亞就把祭壇築了起來；亞哈斯王從大馬色所送來的怎麼樣，祭司烏利亞都按怎麼樣造，等候亞哈斯王從大馬色回來。王從大馬色回來；把祭壇細看；王走近祭壇前，就上到壇上，去燻他的燔祭和素祭，又澆他的奠祭，並且將他平安祭牲的血潑在祭壇上。他又將永恆主面前的銅祭壇、從殿的前面、從新壇與永恆主的殿之間、搬去放在新壇北邊。亞哈斯王便吩咐祭司烏利亞說：『早晨的燔祭、晚上的素祭、王的燔祭和素祭、國中之民的燔祭素祭和奠祭、都要燻在大祭壇上；燔祭牲所有的血和平安祭牲的血也都要潑在這壇上；只是銅祭壇卻要給我做求問的用處。』祭司烏利亞就照亞哈斯王所吩咐的一切話去行。

因此他對他們舉了手起誓，必使他們倒斃於曠野，

『人子啊，這些人將他們的偶像接上心頭，把陷於他們罪孽中的因由放在自己面前，我哪能讓他們求問甚麼呢？故此你要告訴他們說：主永恆主這麼說：以色列家的人中間、每一個將他的偶像接上心頭、把陷於他罪孽中的因由放在自己面前、又前來見神言人的，我必按他眾多的偶像親自應付他，

我並且在曠野也曾向他們舉手起誓過要使他們分散在列國，使他們四散在列邦；

我並且我在曠野也曾向他們舉手起了誓、必不領他們進我所賜給他們、流奶與蜜之地，就是在列邦中最華美的；

但是那遠離了我的、利未人當以色列人走迷了路時候，他們也走迷了路離開我、去隨從他們的偶像，他們須要擔受他們自己的罪罰。

我所看見那站在海上地上的天使向天舉起右手來，指着那永遠活着世世無窮的、那創造天和天上之物、地和地上之物、海和海中之物的，來起誓說：『必不再有躭延的時間了！

『我向天舉手：我，我指着永活的我來起誓：我若磨快了我閃亮的刀，我的手若掌握着審判權，我就必將伸冤報復我的敵人，我必報應恨我的人。我必讓我的箭醉飲鮮血、就是被刺死者和俘虜的血；我的刀必喫肉，喫仇敵的長毛頭目。」

我所吩咐獻的肉祭和供物、你們為甚麼以貪慕的眼看它，而尊重你兒子過於尊重我，將我人民以色列所獻一切上好的供物都拿去養肥自己呢？」因此永恆主以色列的上帝發神諭說：「我固然曾經說過：你和你父的家必永遠在我面前往來」，但現在永恆主卻發神諭說：「我絕不容你們這樣行了，因為尊重我的、我必重看他；藐視我的、他就必被輕視。

那些領導這人民的、使他們走錯了路；那些被領導的、都混混亂亂。）

當那日子我向他們舉手起誓要領他們出埃及地，到我為他們探覓的、那流奶與蜜之地，就是在列邦中最華美的。

我的人民因無知識而被毁滅；你、你既棄絕了知識，我也必棄絕你、不讓你做我的祭司。你既忘了你的上帝的禮節規矩，我、我也必忘了你的兒女。

因為我領他們到我舉手起誓要給他們的地，他們看見各高山各茂密樹，就在那裏宰獻他們的祭物，在那裏奉上惹我發怒的供物，在那裏燒上他們怡神之香氣，在那裏澆上他們的奠祭。（

他們不可親近我，來給我供祭司的職分，也不可挨近我的任何聖物、至聖之物；他們乃是須要擔受他們自己的羞辱、和他們所行可厭惡之事的報應。

永恆主指着雅各的狂傲來起誓、說：『他們所作的一切事我都永久不會忘記。

眾祭司啊，要聽這話哦！以色列家啊，要留心聽哦！王家啊，要側耳以聽！因為審判是關於你們的，因為你們成了在米斯巴的機檻，成了在他泊山鋪下的網。

但你們卻偏離了正路，使許多人在禮節規矩上跌倒；你們破壞了我與利未所立的約：永恆主說。故此我、我也使你們被眾民藐視，看為下賤，因為你們沒有謹守我的道路，竟在禮節規矩上瞻徇情面。』
