人子歟、宜以此室示以色列家、使恥其罪、而度其式、

人子、以色列族所作不端、既自知有罪、抱愧含羞、則必以此殿之規模形製、出入之處、及禮儀法度、書之於册、俾眾目睹、使彼恆守、

惟爾人子、當以此殿示以色列族、使彼因其罪愆、自覺愧怍、彼當量度其式、

“ Son of man, describe the temple to the people of Israel, that they may be ashamed of their sins. Let them consider its perfection,

那人对我说：“人子啊！我所要指示你的，你都要用眼看，用耳听，并要放在心上，因为我带你到这里来，为的是要指示你；你所看见的，你都要告诉以色列家。”

他们若因自己所行的羞愧，你就要把殿的设计、结构、出入之处，以及一切设计、规条、礼仪、法则，都指示他们，在他们眼前写下来，使他们遵着殿的一切设计和规条去作。

好使你在我赦免你所行的一切时，就会回想，自觉惭愧，并且因你所受的羞辱不再开口。这是主耶和华的宣告。’”

你要留心照着在山上指示你的样式去做。”

那么，你们在现今以为羞耻的事上，当时得了什么呢？那些事的结局就是死。

大卫说：“以上这一切，就是一切工作的样式，都是耶和华用手写给我，使我明白的。”

你走了你姊姊所走的路，所以我必把她的杯交在你手里。主耶和华这样说：你必喝你姊姊所喝的杯，那杯又深又阔，容量甚大，必使你成为嗤笑和讥讽的对象。

大卫把殿的走廊、房屋、库房、阁楼、内殿和安放施恩座的圣所的图样，都交给他的儿子所罗门；
