Then he brought me into the outer court. There I saw some rooms and a pavement that had been constructed all around the court; there were thirty rooms along the pavement.

但圣所外面的院子，不要量它，因为它已经给了外族人，他们要践踏圣城四十二个月。

其余的一块地，长十二公里半，宽五公里，要归给在圣殿里供职的利未人，作为他们的基业，作居住的城市（按照《马索拉文本》，“作居住的城市”作“二十间房屋”；现参照《七十士译本》翻译）。

基路伯的翅膀发出的声音在外院也可以听到，好像全能的神说话的声音。

厢房共有三层，一层叠在一层之上，每层有三十间。殿墙的周围有墙坎子，支撑着厢房，免得厢房的梁木嵌入殿墙。

他又除去犹大列王献给日头的马匹；这些马匹是在耶和华殿的入口处，靠近太监拿单．米勒在院子里的住宅。他又把献给日头的战车用火烧掉。

房子前面有一条夹道，宽五公尺，长五十公尺。房子的门都朝向北面。

在各门的墙柱旁边都有一间有门的房子；那里是洗燔祭牲的地方。

紧靠殿墙，就是围着外殿和内殿的墙，他又建造平台，围绕殿的四周，做成厢房。
