看哪！那日子臨近了，事情必定應驗，這就是我所說過的那一天。這是主耶和華的宣告。

“人子啊！主耶和華對以色列地這樣說：‘終局到了！終局臨到這地的四境了！現在終局已經臨到你了。我要發怒攻擊你，按著你的行為審判你，照著你一切可憎的事報應你。我的眼必不顧惜你，我也不憐恤你，我卻要按著你的行為，照著你中間可憎的事報應你，你們就知道我是耶和華。’主耶和華這樣說：‘看哪，災禍，獨特的災禍，臨到了！終局到了，終局臨到了，它已經起來跟你作對。看哪，它臨到了！這地的居民哪，災害臨到你了！時候到了，日子近了，是混亂喧嚷的日子，不是山上歡呼的日子。現在我快要把我的烈怒倒在你身上，向你完全發盡我的怒氣。我要按著你的行為審判你，照著你一切可憎的事報應你。我的眼必不顧惜，我也不憐恤。我卻要按著你的行為，照著你中間可憎的事報應你，你們就知道擊打你們的是我耶和華。“‘看哪，這日子到了！災害已經發出，杖已經開花，狂傲已經發芽。
