我以西結遵命述預言、於述預言時、有聲、即震動之聲、有聲即震動之聲或作有聲有地震骨相聚合、各骨合於所當合之骨、

So they went back and reported,“ We found the jail securely locked, with the guards standing at the doors; but when we opened them, we found no one inside.”On hearing this report, the captain of the temple guard and the chief priests were at a loss, wondering what this might lead to.Then someone came and said,“ Look! The men you put in jail are standing in the temple courts teaching the people.”At that, the captain went with his officers and brought the apostles. They did not use force, because they feared that the people would stone them.The apostles were brought in and made to appear before the Sanhedrin to be questioned by the high priest.“ We gave you strict orders not to teach in this name,” he said.“ Yet you have filled Jerusalem with your teaching and are determined to make us guilty of this man’s blood.”Peter and the other apostles replied:“ We must obey God rather than human beings!

The Lord said,“ Go out and stand on the mountain in the presence of the Lord, for the Lord is about to pass by.” Then a great and powerful wind tore the mountains apart and shattered the rocks before the Lord, but the Lord was not in the wind. After the wind there was an earthquake, but the Lord was not in the earthquake.After the earthquake came a fire, but the Lord was not in the fire. And after the fire came a gentle whisper.When Elijah heard it, he pulled his cloak over his face and went out and stood at the mouth of the cave. Then a voice said to him,“ What are you doing here, Elijah?”

But Peter and John replied,“ Which is right in God’s eyes: to listen to you, or to him? You be the judges!

When the people heard this, they were cut to the heart and said to Peter and the other apostles,“ Brothers, what shall we do?”

So I went and hid it at Perath, as the Lord told me.Many days later the Lord said to me,“ Go now to Perath and get the belt I told you to hide there.”So I went to Perath and dug up the belt and took it from the place where I had hidden it, but now it was ruined and completely useless.

Suddenly there was such a violent earthquake that the foundations of the prison were shaken. At once all the prison doors flew open, and everyone’s chains came loose.The jailer woke up, and when he saw the prison doors open, he drew his sword and was about to kill himself because he thought the prisoners had escaped.But Paul shouted,“ Don’t harm yourself! We are all here!”The jailer called for lights, rushed in and fell trembling before Paul and Silas.

Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting.

But as soon as Jeremiah finished telling all the people everything the Lord had commanded him to say, the priests, the prophets and all the people seized him and said,“ You must die!
