Your people will fall slain among you, and you will know that I am the Lord.

Kings will be your foster fathers, and their queens your nursing mothers. They will bow down before you with their faces to the ground; they will lick the dust at your feet. Then you will know that I am the Lord; those who hope in me will not be disappointed.”

I will send fire on Magog and on those who live in safety in the coastlands, and they will know that I am the Lord.

The trees will yield their fruit and the ground will yield its crops; the people will be secure in their land. They will know that I am the Lord, when I break the bars of their yoke and rescue them from the hands of those who enslaved them.

I will make you desolate forever; your towns will not be inhabited. Then you will know that I am the Lord.

And so I will show my greatness and my holiness, and I will make myself known in the sight of many nations. Then they will know that I am the Lord.’

I will not look on you with pity; I will not spare you. I will repay you for your conduct and for the detestable practices among you.“‘ Then you will know that it is I the Lord who strikes you.

When I make Egypt desolate and strip the land of everything in it, when I strike down all who live there, then they will know that I am the Lord.’

I will put my Spirit in you and you will live, and I will settle you in your own land. Then you will know that I the Lord have spoken, and I have done it, declares the Lord.’”

From that day forward the people of Israel will know that I am the Lord their God.

Then you will know that I the Lord have heard all the contemptible things you have said against the mountains of Israel. You said,“ They have been laid waste and have been given over to us to devour.”

The man of God came up and told the king of Israel,“ This is what the Lord says:‘ Because the Arameans think the Lord is a god of the hills and not a god of the valleys, I will deliver this vast army into your hands, and you will know that I am the Lord.’”

And they will know that I am the Lord, when their people lie slain among their idols around their altars, on every high hill and on all the mountaintops, under every spreading tree and every leafy oak— places where they offered fragrant incense to all their idols.

You ate no bread and drank no wine or other fermented drink. I did this so that you might know that I am the Lord your God.”

and say:‘ This is what the Sovereign Lord says:“‘ I am against you, Sidon, and among you I will display my glory. You will know that I am the Lord, when I inflict punishment on you and within you am proved to be holy.I will send a plague upon you and make blood flow in your streets. The slain will fall within you, with the sword against you on every side. Then you will know that I am the Lord.“‘ No longer will the people of Israel have malicious neighbors who are painful briers and sharp thorns. Then they will know that I am the Sovereign Lord.“‘ This is what the Sovereign Lord says: When I gather the people of Israel from the nations where they have been scattered, I will be proved holy through them in the sight of the nations. Then they will live in their own land, which I gave to my servant Jacob.They will live there in safety and will build houses and plant vineyards; they will live in safety when I inflict punishment on all their neighbors who maligned them. Then they will know that I am the Lord their God.’”

I will purge you of those who revolt and rebel against me. Although I will bring them out of the land where they are living, yet they will not enter the land of Israel. Then you will know that I am the Lord.

Then they will know that I am the Lord their God, for though I sent them into exile among the nations, I will gather them to their own land, not leaving any behind.

And you will know that I am the Lord, for you have not followed my decrees or kept my laws but have conformed to the standards of the nations around you.”
