我必將我的靈放在你們裏面；使你們遵行我的律例，謹守而實行我的典章。

那時在你們四圍的其餘外國人就知道是我永恆主修造了這些毁壞之處，栽植了這些荒涼之地：我永恆主說了，我必作成。

不是喝醉的，這是那藉神言人約珥所說的：「上帝說：在末後的日子我必將我的靈傾注於一切血肉之人；你們的兒子、你們的女兒、就必說豫言，你們的青年人必看見奇象，你們的老年人必作夢。

經上所記也是這樣說：『頭一個人亞當成了活的血氣人；末後的亞當成了使人活的靈。』

如果那使耶穌從死人中活起來的靈住在你們裏面，那麼那使耶穌從死人中活起來的、也就要藉着他的靈、那住在你們裏面的靈、使你們能死的身體活起來。

因為生命之靈之律在基督耶穌裏使我得自由、脫離了罪之律、即死之律。

田野的樹木就都知道是我永恆主使高大的樹矮小，矮小的樹高大，使多汁的樹枯乾，枯乾的樹茂盛的。我永恆主說了，我必作成。』

我必將恩慈之靈和懇求之靈傾注於大衛家和耶路撒冷的居民；他們必瞻望着他，就是他們所刺透的；他們必為他號哭，像喪獨生子而號哭一樣；也必為他憂苦，像喪長子而憂苦一樣。

到了我懲辦你的日子，你的心還能忍受得住麼？你的手還能有力麼？我永恆主說了，我必作成。

等到聖靈從高處傾注於我們，曠野就變為園地，園地就被看為樹林了。

他救了我們，不是由於我們所行的有甚麼本於義的行為，乃是按照他的憐憫，藉着再生之洗和聖靈之更新力。聖靈是上帝藉着耶穌基督、我們的救主、豐豐富富傾注於我們身上的；
