故此，以色列山要聽主耶和華的話。大山小岡、水溝山谷、荒廢之地、被棄之城，為四圍其餘的外邦人所佔據、所譏刺的，

因此，以色列羣山哪，要聽主耶和華的話。對那遭四圍其餘列國佔據、譏刺的大山小岡、水溝山谷、荒廢之地、被棄之城，主耶和華如此說；

因此，以色列的眾山啊！你們要聽主耶和華的話；主耶和華對大山、小岡、溪澗、山谷、荒涼的廢墟，被棄的城，就是曾被四圍列國中餘剩的人所劫掠、所譏笑的，這樣說：

故此以色列眾山哪，你們要聽主永恆主的話；主永恆主對山和岡陵、對溪河跟平谷、對淒涼荒廢之地、對被棄之城、被四圍其餘外國人所掠劫所嗤笑的、這麼說：

以色列山岡歟、宜聽主耶和華言、主耶和華告諸山岡澗谷、荒蕪之區、委棄之邑、為四周列國遺民所刦掠譏誚者、

故以色列山宜聽我言、主耶和華告諸山岡溪谷、其地素有邑郊、今變荒蕪、為他邦之人所奪、加以譏刺、

今以色列諸山歟、當聽主言、主天主告諸山岡、澗溪、澗溪或作窪地下同山谷、荒蕪之地、寂寞之邑、為四周未滅之異邦人、所強奪、所譏刺、

therefore, mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Sovereign Lord: This is what the Sovereign Lord says to the mountains and hills, to the ravines and valleys, to the desolate ruins and the deserted towns that have been plundered and ridiculed by the rest of the nations around you—

Mountains of Israel, listen to the message of the Lord and King. He speaks to you mountains, hills, canyons and valleys. He speaks to you destroyed cities and deserted towns. The rest of the nations around you took away from you everything of value. They made fun of you.

therefore, O mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord God: Thus says the Lord God to the mountains and the hills, the ravines and the valleys, the desolate wastes and the deserted cities, which have become a prey and derision to the rest of the nations all around,

Therefore, O mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Sovereign Lord. He speaks to the hills and mountains, ravines and valleys, and to ruined wastes and long deserted cities that have been destroyed and mocked by the surrounding nations.

therefore, mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord GOD. This is what the Lord GOD says to the mountains and hills, to the ravines and valleys, to the desolate ruins and abandoned cities, which have become plunder and a mockery to the rest of the nations all around.

Therefore, you mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord God. This is what the Lord God says to the mountains and to the hills, to the ravines and to the valleys, to the desolate ruins and to the abandoned cities which have become plunder and an object of ridicule to the rest of the nations which are all around—

therefore, O mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord GOD! Thus says the Lord GOD to the mountains, the hills, the rivers, the valleys, the desolate wastes, and the cities that have been forsaken, which became plunder and mockery to the rest of the nations all around—

therefore, ye mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord Jehovah: Thus saith the Lord Jehovah to the mountains and to the hills, to the watercourses and to the valleys, to the desolate wastes and to the cities that are forsaken, which are become a prey and derision to the residue of the nations that are round about;

therefore, mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord God. This is what the Lord God says to the mountains and hills, to the ravines and valleys, to the desolate ruins and abandoned cities, which have become plunder and a mockery to the rest of the nations all around.

therefore, O mountains of Israel, hear the word of the sovereign LORD: This is what the sovereign LORD says to the mountains and hills, the ravines and valleys, and to the desolate ruins and the abandoned cities that have become prey and an object of derision to the rest of the nations round about–

therefore, you mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord Yahweh: The Lord Yahweh says to the mountains and to the hills, to the watercourses and to the valleys, to the desolate wastes and to the cities that are forsaken, which have become a prey and derision to the residue of the nations that are all around;

而你们将要占领的那片土地却有山有谷，雨水充足，

他们必不再成为列国的猎物，也不会被地上的野兽吞吃。他们必安居乐业，不再受人惊吓。

我们成了列国羞辱的对象，周围的人都嗤笑、讥讽我们。

“人子啊，你要向以色列的山岭发预言说，‘以色列的山岭啊，你们要听耶和华的话！

所以你要对以色列说预言，告诉以色列的山冈溪谷，耶和华这样说，‘因为你们曾遭受外族人的羞辱，我为你们满怀义愤。

说，‘以色列的山岭啊，要听主耶和华的话。祂对高山、丘陵、山涧、河谷说，我必亲自让刀剑临到你们，我必毁灭你们的神庙，

看啊，耶和华必摧毁大地，使大地荒凉。祂毁坏地面，驱散万民。那时，祭司和百姓，主人和仆人，主母和婢女，买的和卖的，贷的和借的，债主和债户都必同遭厄运。大地必完全毁坏，一片荒凉。这是耶和华说的。大地必衰残枯干，世界必衰败荒凉，世上的权贵也必败落。大地被世人玷污，他们违犯律法，不守律例，背弃永远的约。所以大地必遭受咒诅，世人必因罪而受惩罚。他们必被焚烧，所剩无几。葡萄树枯萎，新酒停产，欢乐的人都发出悲叹。欢快的鼓声止息，悦耳的琴音消失，宴乐的喧闹不复听闻。再没有人对酒高歌，浓酒变得苦涩。毁坏的城一片荒凉，家家户户大门紧闭，无人能进。人们因无酒而在街上喊叫；一切欢乐变作哀愁，地上喜乐不复存在。城里一片荒凉，城门一片瓦砾。

我必伸手攻击他们，使他们居住的地方，从旷野到第伯拉他，变得极其荒凉。这样，他们便知道我是耶和华。”

耶和华使迦勒底人的王起兵攻打他们，在他们的圣殿里用刀击杀他们的壮丁，毫不怜悯少男少女、老人和年高者。耶和华把他们全部交在他的手中。上帝殿里的大小器皿，以及耶和华殿里、王宫里和众官员的所有珍宝，都被他带到巴比伦去了。迦勒底人焚烧上帝的殿，拆毁耶路撒冷的城墙，并且焚烧所有的宫殿，毁坏其中所有珍贵的器皿。没有被杀戮的人都被掳往巴比伦，做他和他子孙的奴隶，直到波斯帝国的时代。这就应验了耶和华借耶利米之口所说的话：这片土地享受了安息，它在荒凉中守安息，直到满了七十年。

你的众圣城已沦为荒场，甚至锡安已沦为荒场，耶路撒冷已沦为废墟。我们那圣洁、华美的殿——我们祖先颂赞你的地方已被焚毁，我们珍爱的一切都被摧毁。

耶和华说：“你们被掳到巴比伦七十年期满后，我就要眷顾你们，成就我充满恩典的应许，把你们带回这地方。

我要召集北方各族和我的仆人巴比伦王尼布甲尼撒，去攻击这片土地和其中的居民以及周围各国。我要彻底毁灭他们，使他们的下场很可怕、令人嗤笑、土地永远荒凉。这是耶和华说的。我要使他们的欢乐声、新郎新娘的欢笑声、推磨声和灯光都消失。整片土地要变得荒凉可怕，他们要臣服于巴比伦王七十年。七十年后，我要报应巴比伦王和他国民迦勒底人的罪，使他们的土地永远荒凉。这是耶和华说的。我借耶利米所说有关列国的预言都记在这书上了，我的话必应验在他们的土地上。

我说：“主啊，这要到什么时候呢？”祂说：“直到城邑荒凉，无人居住，房屋空置，土地荒废的时候。

“主耶和华说，‘在我洗净你们一切罪恶的日子，我要使你们的城邑有人居住，废墟得以重建。荒凉之地必有人耕种，路人再也看不见荒地。他们会说，以前的荒凉之地如今竟变得像伊甸园，被毁坏废弃的荒凉城邑已经设防，有人居住。
