I will fill your mountains with the slain; those killed by the sword will fall on your hills and in your valleys and in all your ravines.

I will fill your mountains with dead bodies. Some of those who are killed by swords will fall down dead on your hills. Others will die in your valleys and in all your canyons.

因為耶和華向列國發怒，向他們所有的軍隊發烈怒，要把他們滅盡，要把他們交出來受屠殺。他們被殺的必被拋棄在外面，屍體的臭氣上騰，眾山都被他們的血所溶化。天上的萬象都必消殘；天也像書卷一般被捲起，所有星宿也必衰殘，像葡萄樹的葉子衰殘一樣，又像無花果樹的葉子凋落一樣。因為我的刀在天上已經喝足了，看哪！它要落在以東，以及我決定要滅絕的民身上，為要施行審判。耶和華的刀染滿了血，這刀因脂肪、羊羔和公山羊的血，以及公綿羊腰子的脂肪而滋潤，因為耶和華在波斯拉有殺牲獻祭的事，在以東地有大屠殺。野牛、牛犢與壯牛要與他們一同倒下，他們的地喝足了血，他們的塵土因脂肪而肥潤。
