你怎樣因以色列家的地業荒涼而歡喜，我也必怎樣辦你：（西珥山哪，你和全以東都必荒涼）；你就知道我乃是永恆主。

你怎样因以色列家的地业荒凉而喜乐，我必照你所行的待你。西珥山哪，你和以东全地必都荒凉。你们就知道我是耶和华。”

你既因以色列的荒凉而幸灾乐祸，我要让你遭受同样的下场。西珥山啊，你和以东都要荒凉。这样，你们就知道我是耶和华。’

你怎样因以色列家的产业荒凉而欢乐，我也必照样待你。西珥山啊！你和以东全地都必荒凉。他们就知道我是耶和华。’”

爾因以色列族之業荒涼而喜、我必依爾所行而報爾、西珥山乎、爾及以東全地、必皆荒涼、則知我乃耶和華、

以色列地既成荒邱、爾西耳山以東四境、靡不悅懌、故我使爾荒蕪、俾知我乃耶和華。

爾見以色列地荒蕪、因而歡樂、我必視爾所為以報爾、西珥山及以東全地必荒蕪、人則知我乃主、

Because you rejoiced when the inheritance of Israel became desolate, that is how I will treat you. You will be desolate, Mount Seir, you and all of Edom. Then they will know that I am the Lord.’”

You were happy when the land of Israel became empty. So I will treat you in the same way. Mount Seir, you will be empty. So will the whole land of Edom. Then you will know that I am the Lord.”

As you rejoiced over the inheritance of the house of Israel, because it was desolate, so I will deal with you; you shall be desolate, Mount Seir, and all Edom, all of it. Then they will know that I am the Lord.

You rejoiced at the desolation of Israel’s territory. Now I will rejoice at yours! You will be wiped out, you people of Mount Seir and all who live in Edom! Then you will know that I am the Lord.

Just as you rejoiced over the inheritance of the house of Israel because it became a desolation, I will deal the same way with you: you will become a desolation, Mount Seir, and so will all Edom in its entirety. Then they will know that I am the LORD.’

因為我的刀已喝足於天上了；看吧，這刀就要下到以東身上、到我所命定毁滅歸神的族民上，以施判罰了。永恆主有刀，漬滿了血，由脂肪而肥潤的，由小綿羊和公山羊的血，公綿羊腰子的脂肪而滋肥的因為永恆主在波斯拉有宰祭的事，在以東地有大屠殺。

在烏斯地的居民、以東小姐啊，只管歡喜快樂吧！苦杯也必傳遞給你的；你就必喝醉，以致露體。

對它說；主永恆主這麼說：西珥山哪，你看，我跟你為敵；我必伸手攻擊你，使你荒涼，令人驚駭。我必使你的城市荒廢；你成了荒涼，你就知道我乃是永恆主。

當你兄弟的日子、他遭遇禍患之日，你不應該瞪着眼看着呀。當猶大人被滅的日子，你不應該因着他們而沾沾自喜呀；當災難的日子、你不應該誇口說大話呀。

因為永恆主的日子已臨近要懲罰列國了。你怎樣行、也必怎樣向你行，你的報應必還歸你頭上。

當耶路撒冷遭難的日子，以東人逕說：『拆光它！拆光它！拆到它的根基！』永恆主啊，記得這日、來報罰以東人哦！

又有屬於猶太、耶路撒冷、以土買、約但河外、跟推羅西頓四圍的一大羣眾人，聽見他所作多麼大的事，也來找他。

我必使你永遠荒涼；你的城市必沒有人居住；你們就知道我乃是永恆主。

『搶掠我產業的啊，你們雖歡喜，雖快樂，雖踹弄草地像母牛犢，又發嘶聲如雄壯的馬，

主永恆主這麼說：因為仇敵譏刺你們說：「啊哈！」「這古老的荒丘都給我們擁有為基業了」，所以你要傳神言說：主永恆主這麼說：因為敵人真地使你們淒涼，四圍蹂躪你們，要使你們歸於其餘的外國人為業，被鼓舌傷人者的嘴和暴民的讒誹所取笑；故此以色列眾山哪，你們要聽主永恆主的話；主永恆主對山和岡陵、對溪河跟平谷、對淒涼荒廢之地、對被棄之城、被四圍其餘外國人所掠劫所嗤笑的、這麼說：故此主永恆主這麼說：我實在妒火中燒、嚴詞責備其餘外國人和全以東，因為他們滿心歡喜、滿懷輕蔑地將我的地給予自己為基業，好擁有它為掠物；

嗤笑窮乏的、是辱沒了造他的主；幸災樂禍的必難免於受罰。

我必降火在瑪各沿海地帶安然居住的人身上；他們就知道我乃是永恆主。『我必在我人民以色列中間使人認識我的聖名；我必不容我的聖名再被褻瀆；列國就知道我乃是耶和華、以色列中之聖者。
