爾曹以羊脂脂或作乳為食、以羊毛為衣、肥者爾宰之、惟不牧其羊、

You eat the curds, clothe yourselves with the wool and slaughter the choice animals, but you do not take care of the flock.

Instead, you eat the butter. You dress yourselves with the wool. You kill the finest animals. But you do not take care of your flocks.

You eat the fat, you clothe yourselves with the wool, you slaughter the fat ones, but you do not feed the sheep.

You drink the milk, wear the wool, and butcher the best animals, but you let your flocks starve.

Yes, the dogs are greedy. They can never have enough. They are shepherds who can’t understand. They have all turned to their own way, each one to his gain, from every quarter.“ Come,” say they,“ I will get wine, and we will fill ourselves with strong drink; and tomorrow will be as today, great beyond measure.”

Hear Yahweh’s word, you rulers of Sodom! Listen to the law of our God, you people of Gomorrah!

But your eyes and your heart are only for your covetousness, for shedding innocent blood, for oppression, and for doing violence.”

“ I have struck your children in vain. They received no correction. Your own sword has devoured your prophets, like a destroying lion.

Her princes within her are roaring lions. Her judges are evening wolves. They leave nothing until the next day.

Therefore tell them,‘ The Lord Yahweh says:“ You eat with the blood, and lift up your eyes to your idols, and shed blood. So should you possess the land?You stand on your sword, you work abomination, and every one of you defiles his neighbor’s wife. So should you possess the land?”’
