“ Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel. Prophesy, and tell them, even the shepherds,‘ The Lord Yahweh says:“ Woe to the shepherds of Israel who feed themselves! Shouldn’t the shepherds feed the sheep?

“人子啊！你要说预言攻击以色列众牧者；你要对他们说预言：‘主耶和华这样说：以色列众牧者有祸了！他们只顾牧养自己。牧者岂不应当牧养羊群吗？

「人子啊，你要這樣向以色列的牧人發預言，『主耶和華說，以色列的牧人啊，你們有禍了！你們只顧餵養自己，牧人豈不應該照顧羊群嗎？

“人子啊！你要說預言攻擊以色列眾牧者；你要對他們說預言：‘主耶和華這樣說：以色列眾牧者有禍了！他們只顧牧養自己。牧者豈不應當牧養羊群嗎？

『人子啊，你要傳神言攻擊以色列的牧民者，要傳神言對牧民者說：主永恆主這麼說：有禍啊，以色列的牧民者，只知牧養自己的！牧人豈不應當牧養羣羊麼？

人子歟、當以預言責以色列之牧者曰、主耶和華云、以色列之牧者、自牧其身、其人禍哉、牧者豈不宜牧其羣羊乎、

人子、當傳我命、責以色列族之牧者曰、主耶和華云、以色列族之牧者、自顧其身、不牧群羊、禍必不遠矣。

人子、爾向向或作指以色列之牧者述預言、述預言告彼牧者曰、主天主如是云、以色列之牧者、惟知牧養己身、禍必臨之、牧者豈不當牧羊乎、

“ Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel; prophesy and say to them:‘ This is what the Sovereign Lord says: Woe to you shepherds of Israel who only take care of yourselves! Should not shepherds take care of the flock?

“ Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel. Tell them,‘ The Lord and King says,“ How terrible it will be for you shepherds of Israel! You only take care of yourselves. You should take good care of your flocks.

“ Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel; prophesy, and say to them, even to the shepherds, Thus says the Lord God: Ah, shepherds of Israel who have been feeding yourselves! Should not shepherds feed the sheep?

“ Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds, the leaders of Israel. Give them this message from the Sovereign Lord: What sorrow awaits you shepherds who feed yourselves instead of your flocks. Shouldn’t shepherds feed their sheep?

“ Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel. Prophesy, and say to them,‘ This is what the Lord GOD says to the shepherds: Woe to the shepherds of Israel, who have been feeding themselves! Shouldn’t the shepherds feed their flock?

“ Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel. Prophesy and say to those shepherds,‘ This is what the Lord God says:“ Woe, shepherds of Israel who have been feeding themselves! Should the shepherds not feed the flock?

“ Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel, prophesy and say to them,‘ Thus says the Lord GOD to the shepherds:“ Woe to the shepherds of Israel who feed themselves! Should not the shepherds feed the flocks?

Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel, prophesy, and say unto them, even to the shepherds, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Woe unto the shepherds of Israel that do feed themselves! should not the shepherds feed the sheep?

“ Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel. Prophesy, and say to them: This is what the Lord God says to the shepherds: Woe to the shepherds of Israel, who have been feeding themselves! Shouldn’t the shepherds feed their flock?

Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel, prophesy, and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD unto the shepherds; Woe[ be] to the shepherds of Israel that do feed themselves! should not the shepherds feed the flocks?

“ Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel; prophesy, and say to them– to the shepherds:‘ This is what the sovereign LORD says: Woe to the shepherds of Israel who have been feeding themselves! Should not shepherds feed the flock?

“ Woe to the shepherds who destroy and scatter the sheep of my pasture!” says Yahweh.

I will give you shepherds according to my heart, who will feed you with knowledge and understanding.

He will feed his flock like a shepherd. He will gather the lambs in his arm, and carry them in his bosom. He will gently lead those who have their young.

“ As I live,” says the Lord Yahweh,“ surely because my sheep became a prey, and my sheep became food to all the animals of the field, because there was no shepherd. My shepherds didn’t search for my sheep, but the shepherds fed themselves, and didn’t feed my sheep.”Therefore, you shepherds, hear Yahweh’s word:The Lord Yahweh says:“ Behold, I am against the shepherds. I will require my sheep at their hand, and cause them to cease from feeding the sheep. The shepherds won’t feed themselves any more. I will deliver my sheep from their mouth, that they may not be food for them.”

“ Beware of those scribes who like to walk in long robes, and love greetings in the marketplaces, the best seats in the synagogues, and the best places at feasts;who devour widows’ houses, and for a pretense make long prayers: these will receive greater condemnation.”

In covetousness they will exploit you with deceptive words: whose sentence now from of old doesn’t linger, and their destruction will not slumber.

from following the ewes that have their young, he brought him to be the shepherd of Jacob, his people, and Israel, his inheritance.So he was their shepherd according to the integrity of his heart, and guided them by the skillfulness of his hands.

For the shepherds have become brutish, and have not inquired of Yahweh. Therefore they have not prospered, and all their flocks have scattered.

Woe to the worthless shepherd who leaves the flock! The sword will be on his arm, and on his right eye. His arm will be completely withered, and his right eye will be totally blinded!”

You have profaned me among my people for handfuls of barley and for pieces of bread, to kill the souls who should not die, and to save the souls alive who should not live, by your lying to my people who listen to lies.’

For those who are such don’t serve our Lord, Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by their smooth and flattering speech, they deceive the hearts of the innocent.

So when they had eaten their breakfast, Jesus said to Simon Peter,“ Simon, son of Jonah, do you love me more than these?” He said to him,“ Yes, Lord; you know that I have affection for you.” He said to him,“ Feed my lambs.”He said to him again a second time,“ Simon, son of Jonah, do you love me?” He said to him,“ Yes, Lord; you know that I have affection for you.” He said to him,“ Tend my sheep.”He said to him the third time,“ Simon, son of Jonah, do you have affection for me?” Peter was grieved because he asked him the third time,“ Do you have affection for me?” He said to him,“ Lord, you know everything. You know that I have affection for you.” Jesus said to him,“ Feed my sheep.

For I know that after my departure, vicious wolves will enter in among you, not sparing the flock.

Many shepherds have destroyed my vineyard. They have trodden my portion under foot. They have made my pleasant portion a desolate wilderness.

Therefore I testify to you today that I am clean from the blood of all men,

Shepherd the flock of God which is among you, exercising the oversight, not under compulsion, but voluntarily, not for dishonest gain, but willingly;not as lording it over those entrusted to you, but making yourselves examples to the flock.When the chief Shepherd is revealed, you will receive the crown of glory that doesn’t fade away.

The priests didn’t say,‘ Where is Yahweh?’ and those who handle the law didn’t know me. The rulers also transgressed against me, and the prophets prophesied by Baal, and followed things that do not profit.

I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.He who is a hired hand, and not a shepherd, who doesn’t own the sheep, sees the wolf coming, leaves the sheep, and flees. The wolf snatches the sheep, and scatters them.

Her leaders judge for bribes, and her priests teach for a price, and her prophets of it tell fortunes for money: yet they lean on Yahweh, and say,“ Isn’t Yahweh among us? No disaster will come on us.”Therefore Zion for your sake will be plowed like a field, and Jerusalem will become heaps of rubble, and the mountain of the temple like the high places of a forest.

“ Most certainly, I tell you, one who doesn’t enter by the door into the sheep fold, but climbs up some other way, is a thief and a robber.But one who enters in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep.

Her princes within her are roaring lions. Her judges are evening wolves. They leave nothing until the next day.Her prophets are arrogant and treacherous people. Her priests have profaned the sanctuary. They have done violence to the law.

The Lord said,“ Who then is the faithful and wise steward, whom his lord will set over his household, to give them their portion of food at the right times?Blessed is that servant whom his lord will find doing so when he comes.Truly I tell you, that he will set him over all that he has.But if that servant says in his heart,‘ My lord delays his coming,’ and begins to beat the menservants and the maidservants, and to eat and drink, and to be drunken,then the lord of that servant will come in a day when he isn’t expecting him, and in an hour that he doesn’t know, and will cut him in two, and place his portion with the unfaithful.

“ Son of man, those who inhabit the waste places in the land of Israel speak, saying,‘ Abraham was one, and he inherited the land; but we are many. The land is given us for inheritance.’

But if that evil servant should say in his heart,‘ My lord is delaying his coming,’and begins to beat his fellow servants, and eat and drink with the drunkards,the lord of that servant will come in a day when he doesn’t expect it, and in an hour when he doesn’t know it,and will cut him in pieces, and appoint his portion with the hypocrites. That is where the weeping and grinding of teeth will be.

I said,“ Please listen, you heads of Jacob, and rulers of the house of Israel: Isn’t it for you to know justice?You who hate the good, and love the evil; who tear off their skin, and their flesh from off their bones;who also eat the flesh of my people, and peel their skin from off them, and break their bones, and chop them in pieces, as for the pot, and as meat within the cauldron.

In times past, when Saul was king over us, it was you who led Israel out and in. Yahweh said to you,‘ You will be shepherd of my people Israel, and you will be prince over Israel.’”
