我必立起一個牧人、就是我僕人大衛、來照管他們，牧養他們：是他要牧養他們，是他要做他們的牧人。

我必立一牧人照管他们，牧养他们，就是我的仆人大卫。他必牧养他们，作他们的牧人。

我必在他们之上立一牧人，就是我的仆人大卫，牧养它们；他必牧养他们，作他们的牧人。

I will place over them one shepherd, my servant David, and he will tend them; he will tend them and be their shepherd.

I will place one shepherd over them. He will belong to the family line of my servant David. He will take good care of them. He will look after them. He will be their shepherd.

And I will set up over them one shepherd, my servant David, and he shall feed them: he shall feed them and be their shepherd.

『我的僕人大衛必做王管理他們；他們必歸於一個牧民者。我的典章他們必遵行，我的律例他們必謹守而實行。他們必住在我賜給我僕人雅各的地，就是你們列祖所住之地；他們和他們的子孫、以及他們子孫的子孫、直住到永遠；我的僕人大衛必永遠做他們的人君。

我乃是好的牧人；好的牧人替羊放棄性命。

他必像牧人牧養他的羊羣，用膀臂聚集喫奶的羊羔，抱在懷中，溫溫純純地引導餵奶的母羊。

他們卻要事奉永恆主他們的上帝，服事大衛他們的王，就是我要給他們興起來的。

但是你、伯利恆以法他啊，你在猶大諸鄉村中雖然細小，將來必有一位從你那裏為我而出，在以色列中做統治者；他的根源出於亙古，出於往古之日。故此永恆主必將以色列人交給敵人直到那生產的婦人生產下來；那時那統治者其餘的弟兄就必返回以色列人那裏。靠着永恆主的能力、靠着他的上帝耶和華之名的威嚴、他一定站穩、作為牧民者，羊羣必安然居住，因為那時他必發揚光大直到地極。這就太平、免怕亞述人了；因為當那亞述人進入我們的國土，踐踏我們的土地時，我們就要立起七八個牧民者或七八個人中豪傑去攻擊他。

你們要傾耳以聽，要來找我！你們要聽，就得以活；我必跟你們立個永遠的約，就是施給大衛那可信可靠之堅愛的。『看哪，我立了你向萬國之民做見證，做萬國之民的人君和司令。

這樣、那大牧人顯現的時候、你們就可以領收那不能衰殘的榮耀之華冠了。

願賜平安的上帝、就是那憑永世之約的血把羣羊的大牧人、我們的主耶穌、從死人中領上來的、

從耶西的樹𣎴子必生出一根枝條來，從他的根必發生一條嫩枝子。

你們像羊走迷了路，如今卻回轉過來、歸你們靈魂的牧人和監督了。

後來以色列人必回轉過來，尋求他們的上帝永恆主、和他們的王大衛；日後他們必戰驚恐懼地傾慕永恆主和他的恩惠。

我必設立照管他們的牧民者來牧養他們；他們必不再懼怕，不再驚慌，也不缺少一個；這是永恆主發神諭說的。『看吧，日子必到，永恆主發神諭說，我必給大衛興起一個憑義氣救人的苗裔；他必掌王權，精明而亨通，在國中秉公而行義。當他執政的日子猶大必得救，以色列必安然居住；那時他必稱為「永恆主使我們得勝的義氣」：這就是他的名字。

『我耶穌差了我的使者為了眾教會向你們明證這些事。我是大衛的根、大衛的族裔、是明亮的啓明星。』

萬軍之永恆主發神諭說：『刀劍哪，奮發，以攻擊我的牧民者哦！攻擊那做我同伴的人！我必擊打牧人、叫羣羊四散！微小者、我也必將手轉過去打他們。

智慧人的話好像犂刺；語集中的成分又像釘得牢固的釘子：都是一個牧者所賜的。
