爾食於芳草之場、猶為細故、而以足蹂躪其餘乎、爾飲於清水、猶為細故、而以足渾濁其餘乎、

爾食於芳苑、猶為細故、又將蹂躪之乎、爾飲於清溪、猶為細故、又將混濁之乎。

爾肥強之羊、食芻於美苑、猶以為細事、又將以足踐其所餘者乎、爾飲水之清者、猶以為細事、又將以足渾其所餘者乎、

Is it not enough for you to feed on the good pasture? Must you also trample the rest of your pasture with your feet? Is it not enough for you to drink clear water? Must you also muddy the rest with your feet?

You already eat in the best grasslands. Must you also stomp all over the other fields? You already drink clear water. Must you also make the rest of the water muddy with your feet?

Is it not enough for you to feed on the good pasture, that you must tread down with your feet the rest of your pasture; and to drink of clear water, that you must muddy the rest of the water with your feet?

Isn’t it enough for you to keep the best of the pastures for yourselves? Must you also trample down the rest? Isn’t it enough for you to drink clear water for yourselves? Must you also muddy the rest with your feet?

Isn’t it enough for you to feed on the good pasture? Must you also trample the rest of the pasture with your feet? Or isn’t it enough that you drink the clear water? Must you also muddy the rest with your feet?

Is it too little a thing for you to feed in the good pasture, that you must trample with your feet the rest of your pastures? Or too little for you to drink the clear waters, that you must muddy the rest with your feet?

Is it too little for you to have eaten up the good pasture, that you must tread down with your feet the residue of your pasture— and to have drunk of the clear waters, that you must foul the residue with your feet?

Seemeth it a small thing unto you to have fed upon the good pasture, but ye must tread down with your feet the residue of your pasture? and to have drunk of the clear waters, but ye must foul the residue with your feet?

Isn’t it enough for you to feed on the good pasture? Must you also trample the rest of the pasture with your feet? Or isn’t it enough that you drink the clear water? Must you also muddy the rest with your feet?

『經學士和法利賽人、假冒為善的人哪，你們有禍啊！因為你們當人面前把天國關起來；你們自己不進入，又不容那正進入的人進入。

你們律法師有禍啊！因為你們把知識的鑰匙拿了去，自己不進入，連那正進入的、你們也攔阻。』

以賽亞說：『大衛家啊，你們要聽；你們使人發膩豈算小事，還要使我的上帝發膩麼？

以色列的上帝將你們從以色列會眾中分別出來，使你們親近他，來辦理永恆主帳幕的事務，又站在會眾面前替他們供職；

你將我們從流奶與蜜之地領上來，要在曠野害死我們，這是小事麼？你還要自立為王子來管理我們麼？

你不是只按他們所行的而行，不是只照他們可厭惡之事去作；你乃是以那為小可；故此你一切所行的居然比她們更腐壞。

『人子啊，你要傳神言攻擊以色列的牧民者，要傳神言對牧民者說：主永恆主這麼說：有禍啊，以色列的牧民者，只知牧養自己的！牧人豈不應當牧養羣羊麼？奶子你們喫了，羊毛你們穿了，肥壯的你們宰了，羣羊呢、你們卻不牧養。

然而主永恆主啊、這在你雖還看為小事，你仍說到你僕人家的事至於久遠：我主永恆主啊，這是人所常遇的事麼？

『人子啊，你要為埃及王舉哀唱歌，對他說：『列國中的少壯獅子啊，你可完啦！你，你像海中的鱷魚；卻在你的江河裏衝激着，用你的腳攪濁了水，踹渾了眾水的江河。

你並且把你的兒女，你所給我生的，祭獻給它們、去被燒滅。你的淫亂哪裏是小事呢？

利亞對拉結說：『你奪取了我的丈夫、還算小事麼？現在又要奪取我兒子的催愛果麼？』拉結說：『好吧，為了交換你兒子的催愛果，丈夫今夜可以和你同寢了。』

這麼一說，他便可以不必敬奉父親或母親！那就是你們竟因了你們的傳統規矩而取消上帝的話了！假冒為善的人哪，以賽亞指着你們傳講神言，傳得不錯；他說：「這人民用嘴脣尊敬我，心卻遠離我；他們徒然敬拜我，將人的誡律當教條教訓人。」』

他們貪愛田地、就強奪，貪愛房屋、便奪取；他們欺壓人和人的家屬，搾取人和人的產業。
