我語惡人曰、惡者乎、爾必死、如爾不警之、使離其道、惡人必死於其罪、而我必索其血於爾、

我对恶人说：‘恶人哪，你必要死！’你以西结若不开口警戒恶人，使他离开所行的道，这恶人必死在罪孽之中，我却要向你讨他丧命的罪。

我謂惡人必死、以告乎爾、如爾不示之、使彼悛改、則惡人將死於罪、而爾不能免於刑罰、

我言惡人必死、如爾不言以警惡人、使改悔其行、則惡人必死於罪、而其喪命之罪、我必責問於爾、而其喪命之罪我必責問於爾原文作而其血必討於爾手

When I say to the wicked,‘ You wicked person, you will surely die,’ and you do not speak out to dissuade them from their ways, that wicked person will die for their sin, and I will hold you accountable for their blood.

Suppose I say to a sinful person,‘ You can be sure that you will die.’ And suppose you do not try to get them to change their ways. Then they will die because they have sinned. And I will hold you responsible for their death.

If I say to the wicked, O wicked one, you shall surely die, and you do not speak to warn the wicked to turn from his way, that wicked person shall die in his iniquity, but his blood I will require at your hand.

If I announce that some wicked people are sure to die and you fail to tell them to change their ways, then they will die in their sins, and I will hold you responsible for their deaths.

If I say to the wicked,‘ Wicked one, you will surely die,’ but you do not speak out to warn him about his way, that wicked person will die for his iniquity, yet I will hold you responsible for his blood.

When I say to the wicked,‘ You wicked person, you will certainly die,’ and you do not speak to warn the wicked about his way, that wicked person shall die for his wrongdoing, but I will require his blood from your hand.

故我今日為證於爾、眾人之血、我無與焉、蓋上帝之旨、我無隱諱、悉宣於爾、

我若謂惡人曰、爾必死、而彼轉離其惡、循法合理、

諸靈屬我、父之靈屬我、子之靈亦然、惟犯罪者必死、

如戍卒見刃將至、不吹角以警民、刃至而殺人、其人死於其罪、而我必索其血於戍卒、

惟其父行殘暴、奪同宗、作不善於民間、必死於其罪、

禍哉惡人、必遘凶殃、將依其手所為而受報也、

犯罪者必死、子不負父罪、父不負子罪、義者之義、必歸於己、惡者之惡、亦歸於己、

我父死於曠野、不在可拉黨中、集攻耶和華、第為己罪而死、而無子嗣、

我則曰、噫、主耶和華歟、諸先知語民曰、爾必不罹鋒刃、不遭饑饉、耶和華必於斯土、錫爾久安、耶和華諭我曰、諸先知託我名而妄言、我未遣之、未命之、未諭之、彼之所傳、乃虛偽之啟示、無憑之卜筮、妄誕之言詞、己心之詭詐、故耶和華論託其名而預言之先知曰、我未遣之、彼曰、鋒刃饑饉、必不及於斯土、惟彼先知、必為鋒刃饑饉所滅、聽其預言之民、暨厥妻室子女、必因鋒刃饑饉、擲於耶路撒冷之衢、無瘞之者、我必以其罪惡歸於其身、

彼醫我民女之傷、畧而為之、曰、平康平康、實無平康、彼行可惡之事、豈知恥乎、非也、毫不知恥、亦不赧顏、故必仆於仆者之中、我譴責之際、彼必顚躓、耶和華言之矣、耶和華曰、我必殲滅之、其葡萄樹無葡萄、無花果樹無無花果、厥葉變色、蹂躪之者、我已命之、

惟別善惡之樹、其果不可食、食之日必死、○

蛇曰、爾未必死、

惟彼惡者、不獲福祉、不享遐齡、其日如影、以其不畏上帝也、

維彼先知、得虛偽之啟示、占欺誑之卜筮、我必以手禦之、不得與於我民之會、不錄於以色列家之籍、不入於以色列地、則知我乃主耶和華、蓋彼誘惑我民、謂曰平康、實無平康、人築垣墉、彼以不堅之泥塗之、

設其人生子為盜、而流人血、行上所言之惡、不行上所言之善、食於山、污其鄰之妻、欺凌貧乏、奪人之物、不反人之質、瞻仰偶像、行可惡之事、貸金而取利息、斯人豈得生存乎、必不得生存也、既行此可惡之事、必至死亡、流血之罪、歸於其身、

惡人雖則連手、不免受刑、義者後裔蒙救、
