if they give back what they took in pledge for a loan, return what they have stolen, follow the decrees that give life, and do no evil— that person will surely live; they will not die.

They return things they take to make sure loans are repaid. They give back what they have stolen. They obey my rules that give life. They do not do what is evil. Then you can be sure they will live. They will not die.

if the wicked restores the pledge, gives back what he has taken by robbery, and walks in the statutes of life, not doing injustice, he shall surely live; he shall not die.

For instance, they might give back a debtor’s security, return what they have stolen, and obey my life giving laws, no longer doing what is evil. If they do this, then they will surely live and not die.

将我的律例赐给他们，将我的典章指示他们；人若遵行就必因此活着。

撒该站着对主说：“主啊，我把所有的一半给穷人；我若讹诈了谁，就还他四倍。”

“人若偷牛或羊，无论是宰了，是卖了，他就要以五牛赔一牛，四羊赔一羊。人若遇见贼挖窟窿，把贼打了，以至于死，就不能为他有流血的罪。若太阳已经出来，就为他有流血的罪。贼若被拿，总要赔还。若他一无所有，就要被卖，顶他所偷的物。若他所偷的，或牛，或驴，或羊，仍在他手下存活，他就要加倍赔还。

“若有人犯罪，干犯耶和华，在邻舍交付他的物上，或是在交易上行了诡诈，或是抢夺人的财物，或是欺压邻舍，或是在捡了遗失的物上行了诡诈，说谎起誓，在这一切的事上犯了什么罪；他既犯了罪，有了过犯，就要归还他所抢夺的，或是因欺压所得的，或是人交付他的，或是人遗失他所捡的物，或是他因什么物起了假誓，就要如数归还，另外加上五分之一，在查出他有罪的日子要交还本主。

未曾亏负人，乃将欠债之人的当头还给他；未曾抢夺人的物件，却将食物给饥饿的人吃，将衣服给赤身的人穿；

所以，你们要守我的律例典章；人若遵行，就必因此活着。我是耶和华。

他们二人在神面前都是义人，遵行主的一切诫命礼仪，没有可指摘的，

以色列家却在旷野悖逆我，不顺从我的律例，厌弃我的典章（人若遵行，就必因此活着），大大干犯我的安息日。“我就说，要在旷野将我的忿怒倾在他们身上，灭绝他们。

“你不可向寄居的和孤儿屈枉正直，也不可拿寡妇的衣裳作当头。

“你借给邻舍，不拘是什么，不可进他家拿他的当头。要站在外面，等那向你借贷的人把当头拿出来交给你。他若是穷人，你不可留他的当头过夜。日落的时候，总要把当头还他，使他用那件衣服盖着睡觉，他就为你祝福；这在耶和华你神面前就是你的义了。

他们拉去孤儿的驴，强取寡妇的牛为当头。

你即或拿邻舍的衣服作当头，必在日落以先归还他；因他只有这一件当盖头，是他盖身的衣服，若是没有，他拿什么睡觉呢？他哀求我，我就应允，因为我是有恩惠的。

又有人从母怀中抢夺孤儿，强取穷人的衣服为当头，

因你无故强取弟兄的物为当头，剥去贫寒人的衣服。

只是他们的儿女悖逆我，不顺从我的律例，也不谨守遵行我的典章（人若遵行，就必因此活着），干犯我的安息日。“我就说，要将我的忿怒倾在他们身上，在旷野向他们成就我怒中所定的。

“看哪，我必快来！赏罚在我，要照各人所行的报应他。我是阿拉法，我是俄梅戛；我是首先的，我是末后的；我是初，我是终。”那些洗净自己衣服的有福了！可得权柄能到生命树那里，也能从门进城。

我永不忘记你的训词，因你用这训词将我救活了。

“你晓谕以色列人说：无论男女，若犯了人所常犯的罪，以致干犯耶和华，那人就有了罪。他要承认所犯的罪，将所亏负人的，如数赔还，另外加上五分之一，也归与所亏负的人。那人若没有亲属可受所赔还的，那所赔还的就要归与服侍耶和华的祭司；至于那为他赎罪的公羊是在外。

再者，恶人若回头离开所行的恶，行正直与合理的事，他必将性命救活了。因为他思量，回头离开所犯的一切罪过，必定存活，不致死亡。

他们在各坛旁铺人所当的衣服，卧在其上，又在他们神的庙中喝受罚之人的酒。

亏负困苦和穷乏的人，抢夺人的物，未曾将当头还给人，仰望偶像，并行可憎的事，

未曾亏负人，未曾取人的当头，未曾抢夺人的物件，却将食物给饥饿的人吃，将衣服给赤身的人穿，

“不可拿人的全盘磨石或是上磨石作当头，因为这是拿人的命作当头。
