主耶和华如此说：“它下阴间的那日，我便使人悲哀。我为它遮盖深渊，使江河凝结，大水停流；我也使黎巴嫩为它凄惨，田野的诸树都因它发昏。

“‘主耶和华这样说：它下阴间的日子，我就因它以悲哀遮盖深渊，阻塞深渊的江河，使大水停流；我要使黎巴嫩为它悲伤、田野所有的树木都因它枯干。

主耶和華曰、彼下陰府之日、我令人為之哀悼、我使深淵閉塞、河流息、大水涸、俾利巴嫩為之顦顇、田野諸木因之衰殘、

主耶和華曰、我使柏香木枯萎、是日也、深淵源泉、為之立涸、以示悲哀、利巴嫩之木枯槁、以發憂恨。

主天主如是云、彼下示阿勒示阿勒有譯黃泉有譯陰府有譯墳墓下同之日、我使人為之悲慟、使深淵覆之、使其江河斷流、大水枯涸、使利巴嫩為之哀哭、使田野之諸樹、為之悲慘、

“‘ This is what the Sovereign Lord says: On the day it was brought down to the realm of the dead I covered the deep springs with mourning for it; I held back its streams, and its abundant waters were restrained. Because of it I clothed Lebanon with gloom, and all the trees of the field withered away.

The Lord and King says,“ Assyria was like a cedar tree. But I brought it down to the place of the dead. On that day I dried up the deep springs of water and covered them. I held its streams back. I shut off its rich supply of water. Because of that, Lebanon was dressed in gloom as if it were clothes. All the trees in the fields dried up.

“ Thus says the Lord God: On the day the cedar went down to Sheol I caused mourning; I closed the deep over it, and restrained its rivers, and many waters were stopped. I clothed Lebanon in gloom for it, and all the trees of the field fainted because of it.

“ This is what the Sovereign Lord says: When Assyria went down to the grave, I made the deep springs mourn. I stopped its rivers and dried up its abundant water. I clothed Lebanon in black and caused the trees of the field to wilt.

“‘ This is what the Lord GOD says: I caused grieving on the day the cedar went down to Sheol. I closed off the underground deep because of it: I held back the rivers of the deep, and its abundant water was restrained. I made Lebanon mourn on account of it, and all the trees of the field fainted because of it.

‘ This is what the Lord God says:“ On the day when it went down to Sheol I caused mourning; I closed the deep over it and held back its rivers. And its many waters were stopped up, and I made Lebanon mourn for it, and all the trees of the field wilted away on account of it.

“ Thus says the Lord GOD:‘ In the day when it went down to hell, I caused mourning. I covered the deep because of it. I restrained its rivers, and the great waters were held back. I caused Lebanon to mourn for it, and all the trees of the field wilted because of it.

Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: In the day when he went down to Sheol I caused a mourning: I covered the deep for him, and I restrained the rivers thereof; and the great waters were stayed; and I caused Lebanon to mourn for him, and all the trees of the field fainted for him.

“ This is what the Lord God says: I caused grieving on the day the cedar went down to Sheol. “ The Lord Yahweh says:‘ In the day when he went down to Sheol I caused a mourning. I covered the deep for him, and I restrained its rivers. The great waters were stopped. I caused Lebanon to mourn for him, and all the trees of the field fainted for him.

那时，犹大和耶路撒冷所献的供物必蒙耶和华悦纳，仿佛古时之日、上古之年。

地上的君王，素来与她行淫、一同奢华的，看见烧她的烟，就必为她哭泣哀号。因怕她的痛苦，就远远地站着说：“哀哉！哀哉！巴比伦大城，坚固的城啊，一时之间你的刑罚就来到了。”地上的客商也都为她哭泣悲哀，因为没有人再买他们的货物了；

尼尼微自古以来充满人民，如同聚水的池子；现在居民却都逃跑。虽有人呼喊说：“站住！站住！”却无人回顾。你们抢掠金银吧！因为所积蓄的无穷，华美的宝器无数。尼尼微现在空虚荒凉，人心消化，双膝相碰，腰都疼痛，脸都变色。

看见烧她的烟，就喊着说：“有何城能比这大城呢？”他们又把尘土撒在头上，哭泣悲哀，喊着说：“哀哉！哀哉！这大城啊！”凡有船在海中的，都因她的珍宝成了富足，她在一时之间就成了荒场！
