好使水旁所有的樹木都不會因樹身高大而自高，也不會使樹頂長到茂密的枝葉上，又使一切有水滋潤的樹都不會高傲地屹立；因為他們在世人中，與那些下到陰府的人一起，都交與死亡、交與地的深處了。

都為的是要使水旁的眾樹、樹身都不高聳，不將其樹梢挺立入於雲霄間，只要使凡所有得水滋潤的樹都不屹立於高聳中；因為他們都被交於死亡，交於地府之最低處、在人類中間、到那些下冥坑的人那裏。

使水濱諸木、不誇其崇高、其杪不入雲中、得灌溉之強者、不復聳立、俱必死亡、偃於下土、至歸墓之人中、○

使天下林木、植於水旁、勿誇其株高幹偉、枝葉蓁蓁、喬木森然、終必枯萎、偃於下土、與人之歸墓無異、

使水旁之諸樹、不復高大、不復枝葉茂盛、巔頂崇高、不復因崇高、使彼得灌溉之群樹、立於四周、因俱必枯而死、偃於地之深處、與人之下墓無異、

Therefore no other trees by the waters are ever to tower proudly on high, lifting their tops above the thick foliage. No other trees so well- watered are ever to reach such a height; they are all destined for death, for the earth below, among mortals who go down to the realm of the dead.

So trees that receive plenty of water must never grow so high that it makes them proud. Their tops must never be above the rest of the leaves. No other trees that receive a lot of water must ever grow that high. They are appointed to die and go down into the earth below. They will join human beings, who go down to the place of the dead.”

All this is in order that no trees by the waters may grow to towering height or set their tops among the clouds, and that no trees that drink water may reach up to them in height. For they are all given over to death, to the world below, among the children of man, with those who go down to the pit.

Let the tree of no other nation proudly exult in its own prosperity, though it be higher than the clouds and it be watered from the depths. For all are doomed to die, to go down to the depths of the earth. They will land in the pit along with everyone else on earth.

This happened so that no trees planted beside water would become great in height and set their tops among the clouds, and so that no other well-watered trees would reach them in height. For they have all been consigned to death, to the underworld, among the people who descend to the Pit.

so that all the trees by the waters will not be exalted in their stature, nor put their tops among the clouds, nor will any of their well watered mighty ones stand straight in their height. For they have all been turned over to death, to the earth beneath, among mankind, with those who go down to the pit.”

So that no trees by the waters may ever again exalt themselves for their height, nor set their tops among the thick boughs, that no tree which drinks water may ever be high enough to reach up to them.‘ For they have all been delivered to death, To the depths of the earth, Among the children of men who go down to the Pit.’

按着定命，人人都有一死，死后且有审判。

从前你们列祖岂不是这样行，以致我们神使一切灾祸临到我们和这城吗？现在你们还犯安息日，使忿怒越发临到以色列！”

他们遭遇这些事都要作为鉴戒，并且写在经上，正是警戒我们这末世的人。

又判定所多玛、蛾摩拉，将二城倾覆，焚烧成灰，作为后世不敬虔人的鉴戒；

本城的众人就要用石头将他打死。这样，就把那恶从你们中间除掉，以色列众人都要听见害怕。”

“人子啊，你要为埃及群众哀号，又要将埃及和有名之国的女子，并下坑的人，一同扔到阴府去。“你埃及的美丽胜过谁呢？你下去与未受割礼的人一同躺卧吧！“他们必在被杀的人中仆倒。她被交给刀剑，要把她和她的群众拉去。强盛的勇士要在阴间对埃及王和帮助他的说话：‘他们是未受割礼被杀的人，已经下去，躺卧不动。’“亚述和她的众民都在那里，她民的坟墓在她四围；他们都是被杀倒在刀下的。他们的坟墓在坑中极深之处。她的众民在她坟墓的四围，都是被杀倒在刀下的；他们曾在活人之地使人惊恐。“以拦也在那里，她的群众在她坟墓的四围，都是被杀倒在刀下、未受割礼而下阴府的；他们曾在活人之地使人惊恐，并且与下坑的人一同担当羞辱。人给她和她的群众在被杀的人中设立床榻。她民的坟墓在她四围，他们都是未受割礼被刀杀的；他们曾在活人之地使人惊恐，并且与下坑的人一同担当羞辱。以拦已经放在被杀的人中。“米设、土巴，和她们的群众都在那里。她民的坟墓在她四围，他们都是未受割礼被刀杀的；他们曾在活人之地使人惊恐。他们不得与那未受割礼仆倒的勇士一同躺卧；这些勇士带着兵器下阴间，头枕刀剑，骨头上有本身的罪孽；他们曾在活人之地使勇士惊恐。“法老啊，你必在未受割礼的人中败坏，与那些被杀的人一同躺卧。“以东也在那里。她君王和一切首领虽然仗着势力，还是放在被杀的人中；他们必与未受割礼的和下坑的人一同躺卧。“在那里有北方的众王子和一切西顿人，都与被杀的人下去。他们虽然仗着势力使人惊恐，还是蒙羞。他们未受割礼，和被刀杀的一同躺卧，与下坑的人一同担当羞辱。“法老看见他们，便为他被杀的军队受安慰。这是主耶和华说的。我任凭法老在活人之地使人惊恐，法老和他的群众必放在未受割礼和被杀的人中。这是主耶和华说的。”

以色列众人都要听见害怕，就不敢在你们中间再行这样的恶了。

你必被赶出离开世人，与野地的兽同居，吃草如牛，且要经过七期。等你知道至高者在人的国中掌权，要将国赐与谁就赐与谁。”

但那些寻索要灭我命的人必往地底下去；他们必被刀剑所杀，被野狗所吃。

伯沙撒啊，你是他的儿子，你虽知道这一切，你心仍不自卑，竟向天上的主自高，使人将他殿中的器皿拿到你面前，你和大臣、皇后、妃嫔用这器皿饮酒。你又赞美那不能看、不能听、无知无识、金、银、铜、铁、木、石所造的神，却没有将荣耀归与那手中有你气息，管理你一切行动的神。

在这样荣耀威势上，在伊甸园诸树中，谁能与你相比呢？然而你要与伊甸的诸树一同下到阴府，在未受割礼的人中，与被杀的人一同躺卧。“法老和他的群众乃是如此。这是主耶和华说的。”
