當那日必有使者匆忙急迫地從我面前出去，使安居無慮的古實人驚惶；當埃及遭難的日子，必有翻騰絞痛的事臨到他們；看哪，這事來臨了！

是日我必遣使駕舟、令安居之古實人震驚、加以慘怛、同於埃及遘災之日、其事伊邇、○

古實人安居無恐、斯時我必遣使駕舟、至其地、令彼震驚哀痛、與埃及降災之日無異、其日伊邇。

“‘ On that day messengers will go out from me in ships to frighten Cush out of her complacency. Anguish will take hold of them on the day of Egypt’s doom, for it is sure to come.

“ At that time I will send messengers out in ships. They will terrify the people of Cush who are so contented. Cush will suffer greatly when Egypt falls. And you can be sure it will fall.”

“ On that day messengers shall go out from me in ships to terrify the unsuspecting people of Cush, and anguish shall come upon them on the day of Egypt’s doom; for, behold, it comes!

At that time I will send swift messengers in ships to terrify the complacent Ethiopians. Great panic will come upon them on that day of Egypt’s certain destruction. Watch for it! It is sure to come!

On that day, messengers will go out from me in ships to terrify confident Cush. Anguish will come over them on the day of Egypt’s doom. For indeed it is coming.

On that day messengers will go out from Me in ships to frighten carefree Cush; and trembling will come on them as on the day of Egypt; for behold, it is coming!”

On that day messengers shall go forth from Me in ships To make the careless Ethiopians afraid, And great anguish shall come upon them, As on the day of Egypt; For indeed it is coming!”

In that day shall messengers go forth from before me in ships to make the careless Ethiopians afraid; and there shall be anguish upon them, as in the day of Egypt; for, lo, it cometh.

On that day, messengers will go out from Me in ships to terrify confident Cush. Anguish will come over them on the day of Egypt’s doom. For indeed it is coming.”

In that day shall messengers go forth from me in ships to make the careless Ethiopians afraid, and great pain shall come upon them, as in the day of Egypt: for, lo, it cometh.

噫、沿古實河之國、兩翼軍旅器械、錚錚有聲、原文作古實河外翼鳴之國遣使泛海、乘葦舟浮水而至、我告爾使者曰、爾輕捷之使者、往哉、就一國之民、即爾古實之民、其民身軀高大、品貌俊美、自立國以來、為鄰邦所懼、其民強盛、其民強盛或作其民勇敢戰無不勝下同蹂躪仇敵、其地為江河所區分、爾當告之曰、

推羅遘災之消息、傳至伊及、伊及人聞之、無不戰慄、

我使爾敗亡之風聲、傳於爾所不識之諸邦、我則使多國之民、為爾憂心慘慘、我於多國之民前、向爾揮我劍、無不因爾驚駭、其諸君王、必因爾驚惶於爾傾仆之日、彼皆畏懼、恐喪生命、時時戰慄、

今爾當聽、爾如逸樂之婦、安然而居、心自妄思、惟獨有我、再無他國、不至為嫠、永不喪子、

我必使瑪各及洲島洲島或作沿海安居之民、俱遭火焚、彼則知我乃主、

猶大地必使伊及人戰慄、若向伊及提論猶大之地、無不恐懼、此即萬有之主、為伊及人所定之謀、

我必侵伐無城郭之處、攻擊安居無慮之民、彼無城郭而居、無門無楗、

古實人歟、爾曹亦必為我刃所戮、

五人遂往、至拉億、見其居民與西頓人無異、安居無畏、無侵擾者、無轄制者、無轄制者或作有財豐裕離西頓人甚遠、不與人往來、

凡恃古實誇伊及者、或作凡仰望古實倚恃伊及為榮者必皆恐懼慚愧、

爾所言必應驗、及至應驗、彼則知其中有先知矣、

主曰、我僕以賽亞、裸裎跣足而行、歷三年、可為預兆於伊及古實、

彼傾仆之聲、使地震動、號呼之聲、聞於紅海、

鋒刃臨於伊及、伊及人被戮、古實人恐懼、民眾被擄、基址見毀、古實、弗、弗又作呂彼亞路得、路得又作呂底亞與各邦客兵、及古巴人、以及同盟諸國之人、俱與伊及人偕亡於刃、主如是云、助伊及者、俱必傾仆、伊及之驕傲必卑降、自密奪至敘以尼、其中人民俱亡於刃、此乃主天主所言、
