「我必使埃及人彼此為敵——手足相殘，鄰居互鬥，城邑相爭，邦國互攻。

他們必為摩押哀哭，人人都必哀哭，為不再有吉珥·哈列設的美味葡萄餅而哀歎、悲傷。

他們被恐懼籠罩，痛苦如分娩的婦人。你毀滅他們，如同東風摧毀他施的船隻。

你們要從四面向她吶喊，她必投降，她的堡壘將傾倒，城牆將坍塌，因為耶和華要報應她。你們要向她復仇，她怎樣對待別人，你們也要怎樣對待她。

各邦各族聽見這些事就發抖，非利士人也痛苦不堪，以東的族長惶恐，摩押的英雄顫慄，迦南的居民都膽戰心驚。驚駭恐懼籠罩著他們。耶和華啊，你臂膀的大能嚇得他們僵立如石，直到你的子民都安然走過，直到你買贖的子民都安然走過。
