I will dry up the waters of the Nile and sell the land to an evil nation; by the hand of foreigners I will lay waste the land and everything in it. I the Lord have spoken.

And I will dry up the Nile and will sell the land into the hand of evildoers; I will bring desolation upon the land and everything in it, by the hand of foreigners; I am the Lord; I have spoken.

I will dry up the Nile River and sell the land to wicked men. I will destroy the land of Egypt and everything in it by the hands of foreigners. I, the Lord, have spoken!

第六位天使把碗倒在幼发拉底大河上，河水就干了，为了要给那些从东方来的王预备道路。

耶和华的怒气向以色列人发作，就把他们交在抢掠的人手中，他们就抢掠他们；他又把他们完全交在他们四围的仇敌手中，以致他们在仇敌面前再不能站立得住。

我必把埃及人交在残暴的主人手中；凶猛的君王要管辖他们；这是主万军之耶和华说的。海中的众水必干透，河床必枯竭干涸。河道必发臭，埃及众河流的水必消退干涸；苇子和芦荻都必枯萎。尼罗河旁、尼罗河口的草田，以及沿着尼罗河所种的田都必枯干，被吹散，不再存在。打鱼的人必哀号；所有在尼罗河上垂钓的必悲伤；那些在水面上撒网的，必灰心难过。那些用梳好的麻来纺纱的，和那些织白布的，都必羞愧。埃及的柱石必被打碎，所有受雇的工人也必心里忧愁。

必有外族人，就是列国中最强暴的，把它砍下丢弃。它的枝叶落在山上和所有的谷中；它的枝子折断，落在地上所有的水沟里；地上的万族都必走离它的荫下，把它丢弃。

你必死在外族人手里，与未受割礼的人一样，因为这是我曾说过的，这是主耶和华的宣告。’”

我对深渊说：‘你干了吧，我必使你的江河干涸！’

干旱（“干旱”或参照《七十士译本》和其他古译本翻译为“刀剑”）必攻击它的河流，它们必干涸；因为这是偶像的地，人必因可怕的偶像迷失本性。

埃及地必荒凉废弃，人就知道我是耶和华。“‘因为法老曾说：“这河是我的，是我自己做的。”所以我必与你和你的河为敌；我必使埃及地，从密夺到色弗尼，直到古实边界，都全然荒凉废弃。

因为地和地上所充满的都是属于主的。
