我堅爾面、抵彼之面、我堅爾顙、抵彼之顙、

我使爾容甚剛、顙甚堅、與彼無異、

彼面堅、我亦使爾面堅、彼額堅、我亦使爾額堅、

But I will make you as unyielding and hardened as they are.

But I will make you just as stubborn as they are.

Behold, I have made your face as hard as their faces, and your forehead as hard as their foreheads.

But look, I have made you as obstinate and hard hearted as they are.

Look, I have made your face as hard as their faces and your forehead as hard as their foreheads.

Behold, I have made your face just as hard as their faces, and your forehead just as hard as their foreheads.

Behold, I have made your face strong against their faces, and your forehead strong against their foreheads.

Behold, I have made thy face hard against their faces, and thy forehead hard against their foreheads.

“ I have made your face adamant to match their faces, and your forehead hard to match their foreheads.

For, behold, I have made you today a fortified city, an iron pillar, and bronze walls against the whole land, against the kings of Judah, against its princes, against its priests, and against the people of the land.

I will make you to this people a fortified bronze wall. They will fight against you, but they will not prevail against you; for I am with you to save you and to deliver you,” says Yahweh.

For the Lord Yahweh will help me. Therefore I have not been confounded. Therefore I have set my face like a flint, and I know that I won’t be disappointed.

“ You stiff- necked and uncircumcised in heart and ears, you always resist the Holy Spirit! As your fathers did, so you do.Which of the prophets didn’t your fathers persecute? They killed those who foretold the coming of the Righteous One, of whom you have now become betrayers and murderers.You received the law as it was ordained by angels, and didn’t keep it!”Now when they heard these things, they were cut to the heart, and they gnashed at him with their teeth.But he, being full of the Holy Spirit, looked up steadfastly into heaven and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing on the right hand of God,and said,“ Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of Man standing at the right hand of God!”

For the time would fail me if I told of Gideon, Barak, Samson, Jephthah, David, Samuel, and the prophets,who through faith subdued kingdoms, worked out righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions,quenched the power of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, from weakness were made strong, grew mighty in war, and caused foreign armies to flee.Women received their dead by resurrection. Others were tortured, not accepting their deliverance, that they might obtain a better resurrection.Others were tried by mocking and scourging, yes, moreover by bonds and imprisonment.They were stoned. They were sawn apart. They were tempted. They were slain with the sword. They went around in sheep skins and in goat skins; being destitute, afflicted, ill- treated—

By faith, he left Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king; for he endured, as seeing him who is invisible.

But as for me, I am full of power by Yahweh’s Spirit, and of judgment, and of might, to declare to Jacob his disobedience, and to Israel his sin.

You shall speak to him, and put the words in his mouth. I will be with your mouth, and with his mouth, and will teach you what you shall do.He will be your spokesman to the people. It will happen that he will be to you a mouth, and you will be to him as God.
