yet the house of Israel will not be willing to listen to you, since they are not willing to listen to Me. The entire house of Israel certainly is stubborn and obstinate.

But the people of Israel are not willing to listen to you because they are not willing to listen to me, for all the Israelites are hardened and obstinate.

But the people of Israel do not want to listen to you. That is because they do not want to listen to me. All the Israelites are very stubborn.

But the house of Israel will not be willing to listen to you, for they are not willing to listen to me: because all the house of Israel have a hard forehead and a stubborn heart.

But the people of Israel won’t listen to you any more than they listen to me! For the whole lot of them are hard hearted and stubborn.

And the Lord said to Samuel,“ Listen to the voice of the people regarding all that they say to you, because they have not rejected you, but they have rejected Me from being King over them.

The expression of their faces testifies against them, And they display their sin like Sodom; They do not even conceal it. Woe to them! For they have done evil to themselves.

“ From the thirteenth year of Josiah the son of Amon, king of Judah, even to this day, these twenty three years the word of the Lord has come to me, and I have spoken to you again and again, but you have not listened.And the Lord has sent to you all His servants the prophets again and again, but you have not listened nor inclined your ear to hear,

But his citizens hated him and sent a delegation after him, saying,‘ We do not want this man to reign over us.’

Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the city that kills the prophets and stones those who have been sent to her! How often I wanted to gather your children together, just as a hen gathers her young under her wings, and you were unwilling!

Therefore the showers have been withheld, And there has been no spring rain. Yet you had a prostitute’s forehead; You refused to be ashamed.

Remember the word that I said to you,‘ A slave is not greater than his master.’ If they persecuted Me, they will persecute you as well; if they followed My word, they will follow yours also.But all these things they will do to you on account of My name, because they do not know the One who sent Me.If I had not come and spoken to them, they would not have sin; but now they have no excuse for their sin.The one who hates Me hates My Father also.If I had not done among them the works which no one else did, they would not have sin; but now they have both seen and hated Me and My Father as well.

For her blood is in her midst; She placed it on the bare rock; She did not pour it on the ground To cover it with dust.

“ As for the message that you have spoken to us in the name of the Lord, we are not going to listen to you!

Lord, do Your eyes not look for honesty? You have struck them, But they did not weaken; You have consumed them, But they refused to accept discipline. They have made their faces harder than rock; They have refused to repent.

Yet I sent you all My servants the prophets again and again, saying,“ Oh, do not do this abominable thing which I hate.”But they did not listen or incline their ears to turn from their wickedness, so as not to burn sacrifices to other gods.

and yet you are unwilling to come to Me so that you may have life.I do not receive glory from people;but I know you, that you do not have the love of God in yourselves.I have come in My Father’s name, and you do not receive Me; if another comes in his own name, you will receive him.How can you believe, when you accept glory from one another and you do not seek the glory that is from the one and only God?Do not think that I will accuse you before the Father; the one who accuses you is Moses, in whom you have put your hope.For if you believed Moses, you would believe Me; for he wrote about Me.But if you do not believe his writings, how will you believe My words?”

“ The one who listens to you listens to Me, and the one who rejects you rejects Me; but the one who rejects Me rejects the One who sent Me.”
