你受差派不是到一個說話難明、言語難懂的民族那裡去，而是到以色列家去；

你奉差遣不是往那说话深奥、言语难懂的民那里去，乃是往以色列家去；

你奉差遣不是往那说话艰涩、言语难懂的民那里，而是往以色列家去；

你奉差遣不是往那说话艰涩、言语难懂的民那里，而是往以色列家去；

你不是奉命去语言不通的民族那里，而是到以色列人当中。

你受差派不是到一个说话难明、言语难懂的民族那里去，而是到以色列家去；

你奉差遣不是往那說話深奧、言語難懂的民那裏去，乃是往以色列家去；

你奉差遣不是往那說話艱澀、言語難懂的民那裏，而是往以色列家去；

你奉差遣不是往那說話艱澀、言語難懂的民那裏，而是往以色列家去；

你不是奉命去語言不通的民族那裡，而是到以色列人當中。

你奉差遣不是去找那說話深奧、語言難懂的人民，乃是去找以色列家：

爾之奉遣、非詣方言殊異、其語難明之民、惟詣以色列家、

我不遣爾至列邦、見言語不通之人、其方言爾所不識、如遣爾至彼、彼則願聽、我今遣爾、見以色列族、

爾被遣非就言語不通之民、乃就以色列族、

You are not being sent to a people of obscure speech and strange language, but to the people of Israel—

I am not sending you to people who speak another language that is hard to learn. Instead, I am sending you to the people of Israel.

For you are not sent to a people of foreign speech and a hard language, but to the house of Israel—

I am not sending you to a foreign people whose language you cannot understand.

For you are not being sent to a people of unintelligible speech or a difficult language but to the house of Israel—

For you are not being sent to a people of unintelligible speech or difficult language, but to the house of Israel,

For you are not sent to a people of unfamiliar speech and of hard language, but to the house of Israel,

For thou art not sent to a people of a strange speech and of a hard language, but to the house of Israel;

For you are not being sent to a people of unintelligible speech or difficult language but to the house of Israel.

“起來！到尼尼微大城去，警告其中的居民，因為他們的惡行已經達到我面前。”

你必不再見那強暴的民了，就是那說話深奧，難以明白，舌頭結巴，難以聽懂的民。

約瑟從埃及地出來（“約瑟從埃及地出來”或譯：“神出去攻擊埃及地”）的時候，神為約瑟立了這法規。我聽見了我不曉得的言語。

“起來！到尼尼微大城去，向其中的居民宣告我所吩咐你的話。”約拿就動身，照耶和華的話往尼尼微去了，這尼尼微是一座極大的城（“是一座極大的城”或譯：“在神面前是一座大城”），要三天才能走完。約拿進城，走了一天，就宣告說：“再過四十天，尼尼微就要毀滅了。”

不是到說話難明、言語難懂的眾多民族那裡去，他們的話是你聽不懂的。但是，如果我差派你到他們那裡去，他們必聽從你。

我要救你脫離這人民和外族人，差遣你到他們那裡去，開他們的眼睛，使他們從黑暗中歸向光明，從撒但的權下歸向神，使他們的罪惡得到赦免，並且在那些因信我而成聖的人中同得基業。’

耶和華要藉著外族人的嘴唇和外族人的舌頭，對這人民說話。
