惟我諭爾時、必啟爾口、爾則告之曰、主耶和華云、聽者任之、不聽者亦任之、彼乃悖逆之家也、

後余啟示爾、爾口能言、播傳我命、告彼悖逆之家、聽者任之、不聽者亦任之。

我與爾言時、必啟爾口、以主天主之言告之、以主天主之言告之原文作當告之曰主天主如是云欲聽者則聽、不欲聽者聽其不聽、彼原為忤逆之族、

But when I speak to you, I will open your mouth and you shall say to them,‘ This is what the Sovereign Lord says.’ Whoever will listen let them listen, and whoever will refuse let them refuse; for they are a rebellious people.

But later I will speak to you. I will open your mouth. Then you will tell them,‘ Here is what the Lord and King says.’ Those who listen will listen. And those who refuse to listen will refuse. They always refuse to obey me.

But when I speak with you, I will open your mouth, and you shall say to them,‘ Thus says the Lord God.’ He who will hear, let him hear; and he who will refuse to hear, let him refuse, for they are a rebellious house.

But when I give you a message, I will loosen your tongue and let you speak. Then you will say to them,‘ This is what the Sovereign Lord says!’ Those who choose to listen will listen, but those who refuse will refuse, for they are rebels.

「人子啊，你住在叛逆的人當中。他們有眼睛卻視而不見，有耳朵卻聽而不聞，因為他們是叛逆的人。所以，人子啊，你要準備流亡的行裝，在白天當著他們的面從你住的地方搬到別處。他們雖然叛逆，或許還會明白其中的意思。

那時，你必開口向那人說話，不再沉默。你必成為他們的預兆，他們就知道我是耶和華。」

你要到你那些被擄的同胞那裡，不論他們聽不聽，你都要向他們宣告，『主耶和華這樣說。』」

因為我會賜給你們口才、智慧，使你們的仇敵全無反駁的餘地。

「到那天，我必復興以色列，使你以西結在他們當中開口說話，這樣他們就知道我是耶和華。」

他們只聽不做，你在他們眼中只不過是善唱情歌、長於彈奏樂器的人。

我要使你的額比火石更硬，如同金剛石。他們雖然是一群叛逆的人，你不要害怕，也不要因為他們的臉色而驚慌。」

我把耶和華讓我看到的一切都告訴了那些被擄的人。

同時，我要使你的舌頭緊貼上膛，使你不能開口責備他們，因為他們是一群叛逆的人。

耶和華對他說：「是誰造人的口舌？是誰使人變成啞巴或聾子？是誰使人目明或眼瞎？不都是我耶和華嗎？去吧！我必賜給你口才，指示你說什麼話。」

不管那群叛逆的人聽不聽，他們都會知道有一位先知在他們當中。

他又對我說：「不可封住這卷書上的預言，因為時候快到了。不義的，讓他繼續不義；污穢的，讓他繼續污穢；公義的，讓他保持公義；聖潔的，讓他保持聖潔。」

也請你們為我禱告，求上帝賜我口才，讓我勇敢地把福音的奧祕講解明白。

有耳可聽的都應該留心聽。

有耳朵的，都應當聽。」

逃難的人來的前一晚，耶和華的靈降在我身上，開了我的口。當那人早上來到我這裡時，我就開了口，不再沉默。
