我必降罰於爾、及爾諸河、使伊及地盡成荒墟、變為沙漠、自密奪密奪又作密革奪下同至敘以尼、以及古實交界之地、人足不經於其中、獸蹏不過於其中、並無民居處、歷四十年、我必使伊及地荒蕪、與他地荒蕪無異、使伊及諸邑傾圮、與他邦之邑傾圮無異、歷四十年、我將伊及人散於列邦、播於各地、

心驕必敗、氣傲必躓、

人心倨傲、必速敗亡、欲得尊榮、必先謙遜、

人驕傲必致卑降、原文作人之驕傲必使其卑降心謙者必得尊榮、

主天主如是云、我必毀滅偶像、自挪弗剿除神像、使伊及不復有君、使伊及人民、無不恐懼、我必使巴忒羅荒蕪、燃火於瑣安、行刑於挪、我必傾洩我之盛怒於伊及鞏固之邑汛、汛又作信下同剿滅挪之眾庶、必火焚伊及、汛民驚惶、挪必破裂、挪弗日遭患難、亞文及比伯實比伯實又作毘比設壯士必亡於刃、居民必被擄、答比匿白晝必變晦冥、我必在彼、折伊及人加於人之軛、使伊及人之狂妄驕傲、歸於烏有、其邑若雲覆蔽、且其婦女必被擄、我降罰於伊及、彼則知我乃主、○

伊及地荒蕪、與他地荒蕪無異、伊及諸邑傾圮、與他邦之邑傾圮無異、我燃火於伊及、凡助之者、俱被殲滅、彼則知我乃主、

告之曰、萬有之主以色列之天主如是云、我必遣我僕巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒至此、置其寶座在藏石之所、張其寶幄在其上、既至、必攻擊伊及國、當死者必死、當被擄者必被擄、當就刃者必就刃、我必以火焚燬伊及諸神廟、使巴比倫王、或焚、或擄、彼得伊及甚易、如牧者披衣、後必安然而去、必毀伊及地日城之偶像、火焚伊及一切神廟、
