我必率異邦之強暴者至、拔其鋒刃、爾以巧捷所作奇麗之物、彼必毀之、物著光華者、彼必滅之、

我必使外邦人、列國之強暴者至而攻爾、拔刃毀爾以智慧所得之美物、壞爾之榮華、

I am going to bring foreigners against you, the most ruthless of nations; they will draw their swords against your beauty and wisdom and pierce your shining splendor.

So I am going to bring outsiders against you. They will not show you any pity at all. They will use their swords against your beauty and wisdom. They will strike down your shining glory.

therefore, behold, I will bring foreigners upon you, the most ruthless of the nations; and they shall draw their swords against the beauty of your wisdom and defile your splendor.

I will now bring against you a foreign army, the terror of the nations. They will draw their swords against your marvelous wisdom and defile your splendor!

I am about to bring strangers against you, ruthless men from the nations. They will draw their swords against your magnificent wisdom and will pierce your splendor.

Therefore, behold, I am going to bring strangers against you, The most ruthless of the nations. And they will draw their swords Against the beauty of your wisdom And profane your splendor.

外族人、列國中的強橫人、必將它砍掉、而丟棄它在山上；它的枝條必掉落在各平谷中；它的枝子必折斷在國中各水溝裏；地上列族之民都必逃走，離開它的蔭影。

我必藉着勇士的刀使你的眾民仆倒：這些勇士都是列國中的強橫人：『他們必毁滅埃及所驕矜的，使埃及的眾民都消滅掉。

他和隨從他的人、列國的強橫人、必被帶進來毁滅這地；他們必拔刀來攻擊埃及，使遍地滿有被刺死的人。

因為你看吧，我在激起迦勒底人、那殘酷暴躁的國、那向廣大地區進發、佔據不屬自己住處的。他們威武可畏而可懼怕，判斷與破毁任由自己作出。他們的馬比豹還快，比晚上的豺狼還猛；他們的馬騰躍着飛跑，從遠方而來，飛臨如鷹，急着要喫。

故此強有力的民族必榮耀你；強橫可怖之國的都市必敬畏你。因為你作了貧寒人的保障，窮苦人急難中的保障，可躲暴風雨的避難處，可避炎熱的陰涼地：因為強橫人噓的氣、好像冬天的暴風雨，

永恆主必從遠方、從地儘邊把一國的人帶來像兀鷹突飛猛攫來攻擊你。這一國說的話你不曉得聽，這一國的人鐵面無情，不顧老年人的情面，也不恩待青年人。

此後我夜間異象中在觀看着，看見第四隻獸可怕可懼，非常強壯；牠有大鐵牙，吞喫嚼碎；剩下的用腳去踹。這獸跟以前所有的獸大不相同；牠有十個角。

城中若吹了號角，人民哪有不震顫發抖呢？若有災禍臨到一座城，豈不是永恆主所降的麼？

那將冠冕賜給人、的推羅、其商人是王子，其買賣人是地上的尊貴者，誰定這旨意來責罰她呢？是萬軍之永恆主定的旨意，要使狂傲受辱，使一切美麗受玷污，使地上所有的尊貴人都被輕視。

『因為主永恆主這麼說：看吧，我必導引諸王之王、巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒、率領馬匹車輛、馬兵、和許多團兵眾、從北方來攻擊你推羅。他必用刀劍殺戮你在大陸上的廂鎮的人；他必築壘攻擊你，倒土堆攻擊你，立屏牌攻擊你。他必用進攻機之迫擊攻打你的城牆，用刀斧拆毁你的譙樓。由於他馬匹之洶湧、他們揚起的飛塵都遮蔽了你；他進入你的城門、好像人進入已有裂口的城；那時你的牆就因馬兵的響聲、輥輥旋轉的輪子和車輛的響聲而震動。他的馬蹄必踐踏你所有的街道；你的人民他必用刀殺戮；你崇拜的堅固柱子必倒在地上。人必以你的資財為戰利品，以你的財貨為掠物；他們必翻倒你的牆，拆毁你的娛樂館子，將你的石頭木頭和塵土都拋在水中。我必使你歌曲的音響止息；你琴瑟的聲音、人必不再聽到。我必使你成為光溜溜的磐石；你必做鋪網的地方；你必不再被建造；因為我永恆主說了，主永恆主發神諭說。
